BLOOD CLOTS.

Is it normal to B able to pull out multiple blood clots the size of ur little finger out of a blocked nostril.

I pulled out about 1/2 cup of them with only a few drops of fresh blood ( less than 1/2 of egg cup).

I'm on multiple tablets since heart attack / stroke in 2008 ( cause a blood clot ) raynards, fribromyligia among others.

I though that I was taking a type of blood thinner to stop clots.

Sorry for spellings.

Jeff

Hi Jeff

I would think a Doctor would be an appropriate person to answer this Question, or dare I say it a Pharmacist !! or BHF Specialist Nurse

Any bleeding issue whether you are on blood thinners or not should be checked by an md.

You need to ring your GP or 111 as the anticoagulants may be making a different problem worse. When I was In hospital recently the gentleman in the bed opposite had this problem. They solved it by cauterisation and after checking it a few times he went home about six hours later. He was one of life's gentlemen who then got me a packet of sugar free sweets!

Agree on the bleeding. The sweets sound good too :)

I have these all the time especially when I blow my nose too hard. I’m sure it’s little capillaries bursting then clotting. I’m on warfarin.

Thinking about it logically if your blood didn’t clot at all you would have problems.

Having said that it’s only my opinion and do have a very laid back attitude.

Best thing is to see your doc and discuss it with them.
