First Ivf cancelled in April. Which tests can I ask for/get done from my GP?
Hi the subject title says it all really. I did see a post skirting around the edges of this a few days ago about AMH and FSH but I don’t really know what they are? Are they both blood tests? I’ve searched for it but I can’t find it now. Any info greatly appreciated 😁 x

AMH level
Hi Ladies, I had my follow up appointment today. The consultant thinks I’ve still got a good chance with using my own eggs for my next round of IVF as I managed to get two good embryos in my first round one 5ab and one 3ab which both failed to implant. The consultant then said that my embryos may

No heartbeat...I’m so tired
Hi all, I was hoping the next time I posted was with some good news but unfortunately not. I’m currently 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant which is amazing in itself as I had some much going against me (age, low AMH, thin lining). I was hoping that I would be able to provide a positive story one day. Trying

New diagnosis
I just received my diagnosis of Lupus a few weeks ago after 4 years of uncertainty, multiple investigations including LPs, MRI scans, nerve conduction tests and then eventually referral to rheumatologist due to abnormal bloods and swollen painful hands. I’ve since developed a rash on my face, arms and

Bad feeling.....
Hi all, I had my 2 day embryo transfer on Wednesday. I was so incredibly nervous at the procedure but it went well. They put back my one embryo (a grade 4.3). That afternoon and the next day I had very bad pain, as if I've pulled muscles so had to take paracetamol. Since then I've just had bloating and

Short protocol Low amh success for anyone?
Hi, I had to abandon my ivf yesterday after only 1 follicle was found to be growing. They had found 3 at day 8 of stims, upped my dose of menopur and bemfola but seems this didn't work. I'll be starting the short protocol from next cycle so was wondering if anyone else had a better follicle response

Low AMH cycle update: 3dt today. let the 2ww commence! 🥴
A quick update from me ladies. I went for my 3dt today. From a 4 cell grade 1/2 yesterday, today just before transfer it had grown to a 10 cell grade 1/2. The embryologists said they have “every confidence in it doing well”. My last round from which I had my little boy, we transferred one 8 cell grade

Low AMH cycle update: goodbye vacuole 👋🏻 My little embryo is growing 🙏🏻💪🏻!!
I actually can’t believe I’m writing this. The embryologist just called. Our embryo has divided into 4 cells with just a “very tiny amount of fragmentation not worth mentioning” the vacuole is apparently “no longer relevant” it has been graded 1/2. So I’m off for a 3dt tomorrow. Please emby keep growing

Low AMH cycle update: My 1 egg fertilised 🎉
So I got the phone call this morning. I was absolutely convinced that my little egg hadn’t survived the night but the embryologist said it has fertilised normally despite the vacuole (which is still visible) now I’m holding my breath again for tomorrow’s call 🤦🏻♀️ ! Love and luck to you all 💪🏻xx

Low AMH Cycle update: Egg collection today! 1 egg collected 🎉 Any experience with vacuoles??
Hello ladies! It was my egg collection today. It really didn’t go as I expected! The big follicle on the left was absolutely empty 🤦🏻♀️ but the smaller follicle on the right produced a mature egg which has now been ICSI’d successfully!! However the embryologist said it has a vacuole? Has anyone had

Does testogel for IVF delay your period?
Hi ladies Iv been applying testogel for 3 weeks tomorrow in prep for an IVF stim cycle for low AMH and I was wondering anyone whose used it before if you found it delayed your period? I am a day late at the moment and doesn’t feel like AF is on her way other than the occasional cramp. Thanks

The ‘1st phone call after a retrieval’ slump
Hi everyone, needing to vent slightly.. I’m 36 years old with low AMH and endometriosis. Hubby has low sperm motility. We had a really bad 1st cycle in Nov 2019, with 5 fertilized eggs which led to only 1 viable embryo which then led to a BFN. It was a bad result and I was in a bad place emotionally.

How long to wait after failed fresh embryo transfer before a FET ?
Hello, I was wondering please if anyone could share with me, your experiences after a failed fresh embryo transfer followed by a FET. Today was day 14 following our 5 day blastocyst transfer and we received a negative result 😓 This is our 8th treatment (6 failed IUIs, 2 IVFs). I fell pregnant on our
