Hi all just over thinking everything as usual! For people that dont know my story, ttc for few years. 1 natural pregnancy ended in miscarriage at 6 weeks.I'm 37 partner 45 we both have issues I have reduced ovarian reserve ( amh was 2.8 a year ago ..dread to think what it is now!) partner has low everything to do with sperm. First fresh ivf failed ( period came in 2ww 😢 ), 2 little embies in freezer . I also also struggle with thin lining 🙄
Anyway, I'm a vegetarian and LOVE cheese I have it everyday along with full fat milk with breakfast porridge and in my fruit smoothie with kefir., so I have alot of dairy a day ..I'm surprised I dont moo!
But I've seen so many conflicting things about dairy..some say full fat dairy is good for my eggs etc other sources say avoid it.. I'm now confused as what to do..do I keep up with the full fat dairy daily or remove ?
All the best baby dust to all who need it 😘

I'm a pretty much veggie with a low reserve (2.1) and I to *LOVE* diary. Maybe trying switching to organic (if funds allow). But how miserable would you feel if you excluded diary? Surely being happy and healthy go hand in hand. I've read loads of stories of people having strict super healthy eating plans when going through IVF and having no luck.
I like the 80/20 rule of trying to opt for healthy stuff most of the time but still eating things that I enjoy. (Including take away). I also refuse to feel guilty when I enjoy that ice cream or fully cheese loaded pizza. But I will then make sure I get in my wholegrains, pulses and veggies.
Surely life is too short to live without diary!
I had a natural pregnancy and also miscarried at 6 weeks. I'm now 10 weeks after an IVF cycle.
Hi Kath, I know the feeling well! We actually recently saw a fertility nutritionist who was amazing, gave clarity on what we should & shouldn’t eat along with which supplements etc. are best. Her advise for women is that they definitely should have lots of dairy - full fat & organic (skimmed strips away all the good stuff) when starting stims she recommends 500ml of full fat milk every day. For the men (my OH also has low everything when it comes to sperm) as little dairy as possible as it can mess with their testosterone. Hope that helps. Eat that dairy and enjoy guilt free 😉 xx
