To have surgery or not
Hi all I had an ectopic pregnancy after 3 months of trying to cone dive in June last year. My Fallopian tube was removed. My AMH count was 9.4 I’ve just failed my first cycle of ICSI. I have one frozen IVF embryo. The working diagnosis is that I have endometriosis from from my emergency laparoscopy

First failed IVF
I had my first egg collection a few weeks ago. 2 fertilised. I have endometriosis, slightly low AMH and one ectopic surgically removed with a fallopian tube last year. One embryo transferred and one frozen. I’ve had a negative pregnancy test today. Am so frustrated and disappointed. Does anyone have

Egg freezing - no funding available within the UK
Hello all, I posted a little while ago to mention a visit to my GP to ask for him to refer me to and NHS Fertility provider for further discussions around freezing my eggs for IVF within the next 24 months. I am based within West Hampshire CCG, and had a double salpingectomy late 2017 due to adhesions

Change from ivf to embryo adoption.
Hi, Haven't been on here in a while, it's been a hard journey. I've completed 3 rounds of ivf, all with good quality embryos, but have all failed. I have unexplained infertility with a low amh level, I understand for me, it's a numbers game, after spending $25000 on ivf, it's not only taking its toll

Pregnant after cancelled IVF cycle ⚠️
Can this actually be happening? My IVF cycle was cancelled as my follicles didn’t get over 11mm (all 7 of them) by day 10 & consultant said he expected as much with an AMH of 2.0 following surgery on my ovaries to remove large endometriomas. They gave me an IUI instead but it was never going to work

AMH 2.3 FSH 14.5 1st IVF cycle OTD BFP🎉?
Good morning Ladies. Today is my OTD 16dp 3dt. I tested on Saturday ( the top FR test ) and was obviously thrilled as the line is so strong! Today I did the little square one provided by the clinic and then the middle clear blue test and I can’t help but think they are not as strong so now I am starting

AMH - do I have PCOS?
Hi everyone x Another question: I am 36 and my AMH is 5 ng/ml (or 35 pmol/L). Does this sound like PCOS or borderline PCOS? Different doctors have - again - given me different opinions on this. I have no other symptoms. I have done two rounds of ICSI on really high protocol and I was ok (apart from

Did anyone have a bfp after slow follicle growth?
Hi ladies, as per my previous post I am responding less than expected to both menopur and Gonal f. With great fsh and amh RE placed me in low dose stim, now dosage have increased but not in the way we hoped. I am 34 and been ttc for years now. Similar experience that ended well?

Much lower AFC than a few months ago
Hi everyone, I just returned from my baseline scan and my AFC is 5 while it was 12 back in February. I am wondering whether this means that my Amh halved in just a few months, or is it bad luck? Has anyone have had a similar experience?

Poor responders to short antagonist (menopur+cetrotide) what did you change on your follow up round?
Hello all. On my IVF round I did the short antagonist protocol. Started stimulation with 300 menopur and on day 6 added centrotide (antagonist). My follicles where growing very slow and at the end we ended up stimming 13 days and got 4 eggs, 3 mature and fertilised which resulted to 1 day 5 blast (one

Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio [NLR] or Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio [PLR] & Bone Mets.
New study below. I had a series of posts on inflammation markers a while back. The studies I cited all take the stance that the markers have prognostic value. i.e. if the marker is elevated, one has poorer survival. My attitude is that inflammation can be controlled, & that controlling inflammation

PGS live birth rate per cycle started
Hi everyone. My clinic is recommending PGS to me and I just spoke to their embryologist to gather stats about this "add-on". When talking about PGS, everybody at the clinic suddenly focuses on live birth rate per embryo transferred, which is about 50% in my age range, Vs 24% without PGS. Fair enough

Best NSAID for irritable stomach?
NSAIDs help so much with my joint pain, but they’ve given me ulcers in the past. Any recommendations on what might be gentler on my poor gut? Thanks!

GP referral to fertility clinic (NHS) - Advice
Hi all, I wonder if anyone may be able to give me some advice? Late 2017 I had both Fallopian Tubes removed due to adhesions, and at the time I was not ready to freeze eggs etc as losing my natural fertility as such a young age was quite a shock. I am now at the right point to consider freezing my eggs

Cimzia (trade name) sub cut injection every two weeks (200mg) which worked but I still had to take Mex 10 tabs once a week. I managed to get Mex reduced down to 6 tabs 15 mg due to side effects of Mex.

Probably losing my lo
Did want to to write here at first, but I really need to talk to someone except my family... Of course, my friends support me, but they can fully understand what I fell now. I have a great mix of emotions and can't even give them names... It is so hard journey for me it took me so many efforts and finally
