High AMH (47) not responding to 150 iul. *Feel so low and defeated*
I’m struggling a lot today and I was hoping that there was somebody there to stop me from feeling this low. I just had my scan after 10days on the short protocol and I’ve had no real stimulation. I’ve got one follicle in one ovary measuring at 14mm and all others are less than 10mm. I’ve been told to

Follicles for IVF
My wife went for a amh test and a scan this week, ready for her 2nd egg collection at the end of April. They mentioned she had around 15 follicles on each ovary. (Around 30 in total) does that seem like a good number or is that the normal average amount Hope someone can help 🥰

Cancelled cycle, feeling blue
Hi everyone, I'm new here! I never thought I'd post but I'm feeling a bit blue so thought perhaps you ladies might be able to reassure me! I am based in Israel (although British). I am here undergoing fertility preservation for medical reasons (Low AMH, Endometriosis). It is state subsidised so I am

How soon to start next round?
Hi all, I'm interested to know how soon some of you have started rounds after having failed IVF attempts? I've heard of some people who take up to 6 months in between rounds to let their bodies (and minds) get over the stress of the process, but has anyone gone straight onto a next one after a failed

How low is my amh?
Hi all. I'm new here and I'm about to start ivf to have my second child. I've recently had some tests done. My afc was showing 9 follicles which was lower than average for my age and my amh came up as 5.7pmol which again was told is below average for my age. I'm 36 and doing a multicycle. Has anybody

Back Issues
This may seem like a topic unrelated to AF. It is my experience that nerve issues in the back could be a factor. Unfortunately, heart doctors do not explore this possibility even though the cause of AF has still not been determined. The comment on NSAID's is probably worth considering. They may inhibit

Success with high BMI? or wait 2 years with low AMH?
Hey so as time isn't a factor for us, I'm 37 soon, we've been told to go for IVF as soon as possible, but to be eligible for NHS my BMI needs to be below 30. Currently my BMI is 34, I have hypothyroidism which I didn't know was causing my weight gain, I'm getting that under control, it'll probably need

Only donor egg option left at 43, AMH 2.2 pmol/l
I haven't posted in a while. Last IVF no eggs retrieved. Anyway, moving on started with a new clinic. Had consultation appointment and informed that I have less than 5% of IVF working. (43.5 yrs old, AMH 2.2 pmol/l) Dr said seriously consider DE if I want a baby. 1) UK donor programme approx 2

Day 9 Stims, only 1 follicle
Hi there! Just hoping for any promising feedback.. I am having my first cycle. I’m 39, low AMH, on Day 9 of Menopur - dose was 225 until day 6, then was increased to 300. Scan today showed only 1 decent follicle and many small ones. I know it’s only my first cycle, but I gather this is a really bad sign

Sperm donor
Following our initial consultation with our consultant we have found out that my husbands sperm count is very low (it’s 2000 we knew this already so not a surprise) but none of his sperm move at all, he is having some tests to see if all sperm is dead or if there is a defect why they aren’t moving. But

First round - no embryos to transfer
I received the awful news this morning that none of the 5 eggs from my first collection yesterday have made it. Two were mature, one didn't survive ICSI and the other did but didn't make it through the night. I'm so so gutted. I knew this was a hard journey, but I naively didn't think it would be over

AMH Tests
Hi All, Just a question regarding AMH testing - has anyone had this done in the UK with their GP or have you had this done elsewhere? I'm considering getting a test done but i've never had one before and wonder a) how accurate these results will be b) is it worth doing? I have Endometriosis, was diagnosed

Has anyone any comparison IVF cycles without and then with DHEA?
Hello All, I’m just wondering if there are any ladies out there, with low AMH, who have had a failed IVF cycle(s) without taking DHEA. Then taken a course of DHEA prior to another IVF cycle and noticed a difference? If so, what were the differences. I took a course of micronised DHEA (6 months) after

AMH gone up??
Has anyone had this before? Had it done in 2018 and it was 15.1, repeated in 2019 and it was 15.1 again. Just had it redone last week and it’s now 18.4 I didn’t think that was doable?

Considering IVF - help!
Reposting from sometime around a week ago as no one responded :( So I have endometriosis and am 36, we have been TTC for about 2 years, I lose count sometimes. My AMH results are in and they're marked as low 5.6 pmol/L What does this mean? I've read up about it and found it so confusing because it

What dose of ubiquinol does everyone take to improve eggs?
Hi All, I have been taking solgar ubiquinol 400mg (200mg twice a day) to improve my eggs for about a year. Should i up this? Also is there any particular dhea brand anyone recommends? I ordered mine from iherbs but not sure how good it is. Also have testogel at home. Any tips on whether the gel is better

Ovary flutters on Menopur
Hi all, any advice would be much appreciated. I am on my 5th day of stims on maximum dose of menopur due to low AMH. I keep getting a weird flutter in what I’m guessing is my right ovary but the frequency and intensity is increasing. I never had this at all with my first cycle so just wondering if anyone
