What can I do to plan ahead?
I'm super lucky and got pregnant from our first IVF cycle and now have my amazing little boy. Although he is only 2 months old I have low AMH and know that time is really against us if we have any chance of giving him a sibling. I'm not as nieve to think second time round will go as amazingly well as

Morning Everyone, I'm back again for another round of 'Give me a goddamn baby' and yesterday was my consultancy day. I signed all of my forms, had lots of blood taken, had some swabs done and left with a fortnight worth of reading material and an enormous smile on my face! Now I am just waiting for

Hi just looking for a bit of advice for analgesia. I've got NAFLD cirossis stage 4. I am suffering at the moment with a flare up of diverticulitis and need to take analgesia. I know NSAID's are a no no , but codeine is that ok ? I've looked around for info but not really found an answer.

Do you think a multicycle package through a private clinic is worth it?
I saw on a thread I can't mention clinics which is ridiculous but doesn't anyone have any insight to whether multicycle packages are worth it? I know its super expensive but could save you lots in the long run? Also are they good for those with low AMH?

Laraposcopy?
Following an unsuccessful NHS funded cycle we're now going private. Our NHS hospital called ther other day and booked me in for a laraposcopy as they believe I might have mild endometriosis due to not being able to accessy left ovary. My private doctor on the other hand had advised to not have the procedure

Nutritionists?
My GFR is 38. I asked primary care doc for referral. He refused. He told me I only need avoid NSAIDS and salt. What do you think? I disagree. I do not think Medicare will pay for this when GFR is 50 or below if it was something that was not useful

High AMH but poor egg quality
Hi All. Just 2dp5dt from my second cycle. I only had one viable embryo at the end of the first cycle and was really disappointed that it was the same story this time. I collected 15 eggs, 9 fertilised but day 3 only 3 embryos and by day 5 only one was suitable for transfer and the others were graded

Late period after failed transfer
Hello, It was my fist IVF Cycle, I took a small doses of gonal and in the ponction we got 8 folicules, 5 fertilized and 3 made it to day 3 , all the 3 were 8AA , we did freeze two and did one fresh transfer, unfortunately 14 days later the blood test showed no pregnancy, so I stopped the progesterone

KEEPING A LID ON BLOOD PRESSURE DURING THE CONONAVIRUS CRISIS
This was written by and published by the American Heart Association editorial staff and we've had a number of folks ask about taking the vaccine and still more dealing with HBP issues and this offers some sage advice/suggestions. I hope it helps those affected. Maintaining healthy blood pressure levels

Disappointing Egg Collection
Hi Ladies So I had my egg collection today where just the one egg was retrieved. I was told that there were 5 follicles but 4 were immature and therefore not able to release. They said they tried “flushing” 8 times but they still couldn’t get them to release. They also indicated that the one egg that

39 and about to start IVF process on next cycle
Hi ladies, I was just looking to hear some success stories of ivf on nhs at my age. Baseline scan- AFC 8 (Any thoughts?)
Hi all, My AMH is 9. So, I just had a baseline scan on day 20 of my cycle. My hospital wanted me to come back for a follow up scan on cycle day 1, 2 or 3 for two main reasons: 1) My AFC was low compared to the previous round- so she thought maybe it would be worth postponing to see if we could have

Donor cycle due to commence
Hi everyone, I haven’t posted on here for a while as I took some time away. Now I’m back and about to commence a donor egg cycle. My little sister is our donor. Has anyone used a known donor? I am a bit anxious about the pressure on us all for this to work. My sister has an amazing AMH of over 40
