Nhs baseline scan done ✅ consent forms filled in ✅ is it stupid to hope we start at the end of the month?

So.....According to their predicted timescale I should be getting treatment now 🤣😂😂😂😂 weird times? ( they say October 2019 people should be done by end of September ..... I was May 2019.... so I’m running with my .... DO MY TREATMENT RIGHT NOW THIS MINUTE OR ELSE!!!! Timescale predictor 🤣)

I’ve had a scan this week that was weird. 🤪

No one knew why I was there? Is this normal for nhs? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nurse: asked was I on anything? ( she meant drugs for stims)

Dr : asked was I there for a FET ? ( what the flip... I wish!)

So I took a deep breathe.... and straightened them out, dr read my notes properly!!!! Realised he was reading my private treatment stuff... referenced my low amh which I reminded him was probably lower as it’s taken so long to be called!

I repeated , I’ve been in the list for two years, I’ve had private treatment whilst I waited ..... now when is my nhs treatment starting!!!!!

Nurse said ask

Admin?

Which I did to be told .... it’s actually nurses and they’d discuss at meeting that afternoon.

No messages..... so I asked the next day for dates ? None given? Message sent for nurses review on Monday ....

Followed quickly by allllllllll the consent forms in the land coming through this morning ????

This is a good sign , right?🤷🏼‍♀️🙌

Did not expect such poor and unclear info from nhs but I understand the craziness of the times.

Good result after all! After filling out forms and having a meeting with a nurse to go through the forms and consents we are now waiting for my period to arrive. That will be day one of the treatment. Not long now!

Happy days! Sounds close then 🤩🥳🥳🥳🥳.....My period came last Sunday so I’ve announced that hoping we can go on day 21 because I’ve had a message already to ask if my period fell between certain dates . Hopefully 🙏🏻 a nurse will be doing our consents on Monday ( all filled in online already)

With NHS sounds about right what you are experiencing unfortunately. I also had information session twice... I don't know why ... Signing the paperwork is definitely a good thing, we had our prescription when we actually signed them. I am keeping everything crossed for you ❤️🤗

Oh mate! Unfortunately this is quite similar to my experience!! Ivf is a part time job. You have to pay attention a lot to what they say in case something isn’t quite right. BUT the actual treatment - couldn’t fault it. Keep on pushing lovely. You’ve got this xxx

Sounds about right! Im sure your baseline was to check for any cysts etc. Did the doc not go over the results if the baseline? You should have been told to sort out your meds (they give you a prescription or if at a hospital sometime give you the meds) and go through how to administer? Ring them ! Xx
