3th cycle IVF, low reserve and poor responding
Hi ladies, I just wanted to share my IVF journey so far and ask for some other experiences. I am 37 with low amh. My first cycle was on elonva and then gonal F added. I had 4 eggs collected, non fertilised. It was a complete shock to us. We had been trying for 1 year and experienced 1 chemical pregnancy

AMH wobbles ....
I've seen a few posts about this, so sorry to repeat. Just returned from clinic with my OH. He has Azoospermia so just ruled out he doesn't have chromosomal abnormalities, which was a relief and now on the path towards ICSI. One thing I wasn't expecting was a slightly lower AMH level than average. I'm

AMH - Please can someone give me some clarity?
Hello, Any feedback would be very appreciated. I did an AMH test last year, it came back at 1,16 NG/ML, which was my baseline scan. This year we did a new AMH test in a different laboratory which came back at 0.58 NG/ML. (Day 2, FSH came back at 8,4 mUI/ML) I became so horrified and anxious that i

oral NSAIDs vs topical NSAIDs
I always wondered if topical NSAIDs were gentler on the body than oral NSAIDs. This is an interesting article: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/life/advice/2020/10/28/keith-roach-topical-nsaids-worth-trying/114504778/

I just don't know what to do next after 2 miscarriages before 7 weeks.
Hi Ladies, Back again! Sorry for the long post, but I get so much more information and ideas from you than the consultant. Quick summary - started IVF in 2020, 4 embryos frozen. 1st worked, but miscarriage at 7 weeks. 3 failed transfers. Another round in Feb - 2 embryos frozen. Just had another miscarriage

Hi lovely ladies, So I'm looking for advice/experiences with the different dosage of meds. To give a brief history, I got pregnant on my first IUI (single using donor sperm). Several unsuccessful IUI's after that. 3 IVF's, 1st, long protocol, downreg with the pill for 14 days 300iu Gonal F 10 follicles

Azoospermia straight to ICSI?
Hi, I hope everyone is doing okay with their fertility journeys. I wanted to ask if anyone has experience of fertility consultant moving straight to suggesting ICSI when azoospermia is not fully investigated? As soon as we had to sperm samples with zero sperm count, my husband and I went private for

Sad update š¢ 6.4 weeks - empty sac š
Hi ladies, After 5 transfers and getting my bfp I thought this was the one. Sadly I started to bleed last week brown spotting and yesterday it was confirmed another missed miscarriage. They saw the sac but no embryo. The cruel thing is I have to keep taking medication and have another scan next Monday

Endometrioma and IVF
Hi ladies I wanted to see if anyone has been in a similar position. I have a small endometrioma on one ovary measuring approx 1 cm. This was first observed two years ago with my first fertility clinic. They were not concerned about it and actively told me not to remove it because of the risks of reducing

Egg collection = 1 egg that didnāt survive ICSI
After our egg collection in March that yielded no eggs, this collection was really going to dictate our chances. Well the title says it all after 2 rounds we still have nothing to transfer š I am 35, AMH 4.9 I had 4 follicles but again they couldnāt access my abdominal ovary. In terms of using my own

IVF round 2..... 4 years on!
I have had a break from posting on here since our last FET in February, but I'm now gearing up for our IVF cycle in July. I can't quite believe I am here really. I had my son via our first IVF round (he was a fresh transfer) and had 7 little frozen embryos. I never imagined I'd be doing a full round

Time to start Buserelin
My clinic asked that I start BCP and buserelin on day 23 of my cycle. The timeline seems off to me. I have a low Amh. Advice needed

Egg collection results are in - what a pointless cycle
Iāve just got home, 4 eggs from only 4 follicles were collected and the clinic have literally just called to say only 3 were mature ā¹ļø not the result we were hoping for but nothing we can do about it now. I think we will get lucky even if just 1 makes it to blast but Iāve got a feeling none will. I

Egg collection Monday- (hopefully)
Anyone else in for collection Monday? As long as my covid test the clinic have done comes back negative today I will be triggering tonight for collection Monday. Iām super nervous for what they might collect as I seem to have a few follicles that are huge (22-24mm) and about 5 that werenāt quite ready
