I just don't know what to do next after 2 miscarriages before 7 weeks.

Hi Ladies,

Back again! Sorry for the long post, but I get so much more information and ideas from you than the consultant.

Quick summary - started IVF in 2020, 4 embryos frozen. 1st worked, but miscarriage at 7 weeks. 3 failed transfers. Another round in Feb - 2 embryos frozen. Just had another miscarriage (anembryonic pregnancy, empty sac and waiting to miscarry). 1 more frozen.

I have low AMH - I am 35 and the level is 1.3

No other tests have come back abnormal. I have had the blood clotting test - clear. ERA - need extra progesterone but EMMA/ALICE clear. Thyroid fine. No endo that I'm aware of.

I just don't want to transfer my last embryo without trying anything else. What would you suggest?

Do you think given my age and AMH the problem could be my eggs and egg quality? Should I be prepared for donor eggs?

These two rounds were NHS and although I wasn't unhappy with my clinic, I do feel that if they were private, I potentially would have had more tests/suggestions.

The next round will be privately paid for, so any North West based clinics that you know of for low AMH - please DM me.

I am so sorry for your loss.

Have you had any checks on your uterus? Such as an MRI/3D scan etc? It might be worth looking into that if you haven't - checking womb shape/presence of fibroids/adenomyosis etc. Some of these things can cause both miscarriages and implantation issues x

Hi, I've had 2 miscarriages as well and about to try my 3rd round of ivf after another 2 failed but with a pgs tested embryo. Maybe worth checking the embryos as someone's early loss can be due to chromosome issues in embryo... Wishing you the best of luck xx

I had 2 miscarriages and 2 chemicals before I had my son. I have high active NK cells. For the cycle that results my son, I had PGS tested embryo transferred and treatment of NK cells. You can see my profile and posts for the details. Hope these information can help.
