Scan for monitoring follicles
Hi everyone, I’m due to have my egg collection middle of next month, and my clinic only want to scan me two days before the potential day of egg collection. They said it’s because my AMH is below 20 (14.5) I had a laparoscopy and removal of ovarian cysts so it’s made my AMH drop. But just wanted to

Steroids v Rituximab - any advice/opinions?
so I’ve not been on here for a very long time while I’ve been going round the houses with different consultants. I’m now in the position where I’m getting bad flares and high ANA but a bit of a question mark over whether it’s lupus or multiple autoimmune issues causing it. MCAS is strongly suspected

Questions to ask the embrylogist on day3 ?
Hi Ladies, Thanks for all the information! I am 41 years with AMH 3.8. I got 11 mature eggs during my egg retrieval out of which only 6 got fetilized on day1. And only 5 got into day 2 and 1 did not grow further. There is no fragmentation, and all 5 are between 2 to 6 cells. What are questions to ask

Change of medication
Hi everyone how are you all? Hope you’re well. Apologies for not being on the site for a while, work has been super busy. Just wanted to ask a quick question please. Has anyone ever changed medication and if so how did you feel? I’ve been on 25mg of Methotrexate for years but sadly it’s no longer

Gout w CKD3
I’m posting for my mom, she has CKD3 and I do as well. She’s had gout in her feet for about two years now. Last bout was so bad :-( She’s 75, in otherwise decent health. Two rounds of dex steroid paks, then some serious prednisone amounts (about 2 weeks, tapered down). Her dr wanted her to go up on Allopurinol

hi ladies, I’ve been a bit quiet on here recently after our 2nd miscarriage recently. We have one embryo left and I just want to throw the kitchen sink at it and give it our best shot. I wondered if you could help me. our situation is (in a nutshell) I’m 35, low AMH of 1.3 but still have gotten good

AMH really low
Well I got my AMH results back am truly gutted 0.39. The doctor said it’s lower than expected for a woman of my age (40) and feels it’s due to an autoimmune disorder. Am truly heartbroken as it’s prob not going to happen for me. He did mention trying DHEA and Impryl which I will and go back in 2-3 months

dramatic drop in AMH
hi everyone, I’ve just joined. Back in feb this year I thought I’d have a check on my fertility as I’m 35 and not in a stable relationship. My AMH came back at 1.97pmol. Very low for my age. I had an antral follicle count scan and they said 1-2 follicles. Since then I’ve had various other tests and had

Hi ladies, I am 41 years old and had my first child naturally, I am trying to conceive for second time since last one year but no luck. I don't have any medical condition perhaps unexplained infertility and have gone though 3 cycles of ovulation induction and one IUI but it did not work. Should

Diminishing Ovary Reserve: Any Advice
I feel like I’m in a world of unknowns at the moment. I had a AFC scan which showed I only have 4 follicles, one ovulated, being 40 I wasn’t expecting too much! Signs of ovulation must be good news?? I do know only having 4 follicles prob means my AMH is low too, meaning DOR and IVF is going to be a

Single or doublr transfer
Hi everyone, can anyone tell me that in case of endometriosis, adenomyosis and low AMH how many embryos should be transfer? Single or double? What could be the chances of transferring 2 embryos at a time?

Rekovelle, Metformin and Levothyroxine
Hey! I am due to start round two, very soon, and the plan is for me to stim with Rekovelle for this attempt. I have been having Metformin (1500mg a day) and Levothyroxine to bring my TSH to less than 2.5 (I also have positive thyroid antibodies). Has anyone ever had the thyroxine/Metformin combo

NSAIDs
Hi everyone, hope you are having a good day. After my angioplasty I was put on Clopidogrel and I have read that you cannot take NSAIDs with them as it increases bleeding risks. NSAIDS anyone ?
When I was diagnosed with RA in 1989 , along with other medication , I was given diclofenac as a NSAID . This was later changed to Meloxicam by my rheumatologist . Which I took daily until this year . Fast forward to May 2021 and I tripped on a step in the house and fell heavily onto my left hip

CSR and strabismus surgery. Plus benefits of CBD for CSR
Hi guys I was recommended for strabismus surgery.. they said it was I was a great candidate but it’s for both eyes.
