Heartburn Issues with Generic Tadalafil & Sildenafil
I'd prefer not to become dependent on
antacids
since they have their own health concerns. Thank you very much.

Sorry another q. omeprazole and sulfasalazine
Now I've read omeprazole is not an antacid and everywhere says there are no interactions with ppi's and sulfasalazine just
antacids
and you shouldn't take
antacids
within 2 hours of sulfasalazine. I seem to be spending my days living my life by the clock to take meds!

Intrinsic Factor Negative
On lansoprazole for this but still need
antacids
on top too occasionally. Don’t really know what to do next. I think seeing a GP about new knee pain is probably a good idea.

Treating reflux with RLS
Apparently
antacids
may do same but there is less evidence. Aside from lifestyle changes is anyone who has experienced RLS augmentation aware of other options or had experience with H2 Receptor Antagonists (for treating severe reflux)?

Hypo symptoms but doctors unsympathetic
I have tried all sorts of solutions... have been prescribed
antacids
for GERD (didnt work), have tried antihystamines and changed bed clothes/diet in case of allergies (didn't work), drink lots of water, taken over the counter pain killers. Nothing touches it.

Question about Celiac or NCGS...
From gastritis, to guts, throat, and neurological (ended up with B12 and Iron issues because they gave me PPI, H2 and
antacids
at the same time! For what they said was reflux... but what I feel may be gluten) This all started with issues with my stomach and gut AGES ago. Later started tingling.

Thyroid question please...
They put me on PPI, H2, and
antacids
(at the same time) and then my b12 went low, so now I am under b12 treatment. My hormones have been all over the place.

Tocilizumab and heartburn
Hello, I wonder if anybody else with experience of this and if so can you remember if it passed? I’m finally back on Tocilizumab after an ankle replacement, 2 bouts of C-diff, a chest infection and minor surgery for an ingrowing toenail. It’s been a bad 3 months and my RA has been flaring the whole

My first post concerning APC
I was diagnosed with advanced metastatic prostate cancer (bones) in January, 2023 (thought I just needed to stock up on
antacids
). February, 2023 prescribed Apalutamide plus Trelstar.

Need advice
About a month ago, I began to get very gassy with gas being trapped in my upper back area on right side and my stomach getting very bloated. I noticed stewed tomatoes caused it, then lemon meringue pie seemed to be another culprit. I began to take Tums and they helped but it eventually turned to acid

Getting there, but slowly
I get heartburn, not to excess but then again, I always have a packet of
antacids
by the bed just in case whereas I have never seen my partner take one ever. I might need to pop one about 3-4 times a month, but sometimes not at all for weeks on end.

Ferrous Fumerate and pre-existing Reflux
It’s not recommended to take
antacids
close to a dose which leaves me really stuck. I will go back to half a dose that is 500 mg to start again - and will have with my dinner each night - once this has calmed down as I don’t want my iron levels to drop too much.

Esophagus pain after cardioversion
It also seems to be improved somewhat by
antacids
. I am also taking daily low-dose aspirin since the cardioversion, on advice of the administering doctor, as a precaution against stroke. (They don't have me on a real blood thinner since I'm at very low stroke risk overall.)

Antacids that don't aggravate RLS?
I'm having some stomach issues investigated and as a starting point, my GP offered me a script for a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI). I recalled that these can aggravate RLS and so i asked for an alternative. She wrote a script for Famotidine which i read now is another type of antacid (a H2Aa) which can

Gut and hands!
I would say these are my two major symptoms. I started suffering from acute indigestion in late summer 2018 and the GP prescribed Omeprazole. Only a few weeks later my hands and lower arms became swollen, red and painful. As luck would have it the same GP who happened to have a special interest in
