PSA down but mets increasing?
I've been on ADT + Xtandi for about a year (see my Bio for details) and my PSA has been slowly and steadily reducing over that time - now down to 0.05. However, my 3 CT scans (last August, December and last month) are showing a slight increase each time in the size of my lymph node mets and the bone

Gp ringing me in the next 2 hours, assistance please!
Hello, Because I've gone downhill in the last few days I called again to speak to someone, this is after my sending in a letter last week with bloods and being ignored (fobbed off, dismissed). Now I'm hot and cold sweats, low level tingling, dry tongue (electrolyte ususally help but not now) unsteady

Some hopeful test news:šš»
My son had a PSA of 20 just 3 mo after RRP last October 24th. Prior to that we had no idea from his test results that the PC was outside of the prostate. It had gone to his pelvic lymph nodes plus heās tertiary five. Heās been on generic Zytiga and prednisone and Lupron and finished six weeks of IMRT

How long does this process take?
My 2nd post and still full of questions, would like to hear from everyone. Regarding my specific case: I was told I have to do 6 months of ADT and appx 28-30 rounds of EBRT. Of course, I still don't have my PSMA/PET scan results back yet, but I'm assuming the best case scenario. Still trying to make

TSH how long for suppressed TSH to return to normal after stopping T3?
I saw a āhormone specialistā GP today. Again she tried to tell me I need to reduce my levothyroxine because of my suppressed TSH. Only saw her because sheās meant to be good with HRT, but sheās gone mad about my TSH. My FT4 is only 48-% through range, so if anything, Iād like to increase my levo!

ED No More (the prequel)
I've had so many comments since my post "ED no more" that I felt I should offer more. I'm a neophyte on this site. As a matter of fact I avoid this site. I have always adopted an "ignorance is bliss" attitude towards life and my PC. My wife, on the other hand, is a nervous but adventurous individual

Tried it all
I've had depression for 27 years now. I've had 3 major episodes and am going through one right now. I think the best word is torture. My mind is being tortured and all I want to do is sleep. I do get up and do things, but time moves so, so slowly! I did ECT back in 2005 and did 14 sessions and it

Should I fight for Darolutamide ?
Thank you all so far for your advice, I am here again for some more. After RT in a metastastic LN last year, I am again with a PSA 2.0, with a bunch of small LNs showing in the PET. RO gave up. I will start ADT again, this time with a 2nd generation added. I will restart Zoladex, and MO is adding Enzalutamide

Taurine and ADT weight gain
One thing that many PCa endurers see occurring despite their best efforts is weight gain while on ADT. Does the community have any info on whether taurine can help, in conjunction with lots of exercise? I found a couple articles that it might.

New to this: travel during ADT & post EBRT?
New to this group and the Dx took me by complete surprise. I'm 76 and in excellent health - or so I thought! - and now this happens. PSA between 7 and 8 over the past year, wait and see. April PSA was 7.4 and DRE indicated a mass. MRI, biopsy followed, showing Gleason 4=3=7, Stage IIC. Did another

Multivitamins/Supplements
My 5 year old son was recently diagnosed with combined ADHD, and his dad and I are holding off on medication for now. I'd love to hear what vitamins, supplements, and or diet changes you all are doing for a kiddo this age? I read a recommendation for the OLLY brand "Chillax" vitamins that we've been

spasmonal (alverine citrate for constipation
hi has anyone tried this for constipation as Iām still struggling with constipation which leans on my bowel due to long redundant loops if my bowel. Second Gen ADT Drug Issues
Dont remember seeing this on here yet. I guess one weighs increased risk of dementia vs stopping PC. Wouldnt want to be in that position. I remember back before my SRT went on Bicalutamide for one month before SRT started and then stopped when I read that is also linked to dementia. Crap. https://www.urologytimes.com

Bowel irrigation (Not "colonic irrigation")
I have obstructed defecation (anismus) which has not responded to biofeedback etc. The next step is at home bowel irrigation and I am just waiting for an appointment with the bowel nurse to issue me with the equipment. It would be helpful to hear of anyone`s experience with this. I don`t know which
