Degarelix and increased diabetes risk?
My husband had his first Degarelix injection last week. I have been reading that men who get ADT have an increased risk of diabetes. Just wondering because he had a blood test today, and his glucose was high. Diabetes runs in his family as his father, brother and sisters all had/have diabetes. Both father

Your thoughts on next course of action
First, I'd like to thank the many good folks that contribute this forum. Your inputs have been a life send to me over the past several years, especially Tall Allen who recommended UW Medicine where my MO and RO are located. They have been fantastic to work with. The short story - Diagnosed in 2018.

Oar Gel and gold placements for beginners on this journey
I am a beginner on this PC journey but feel fortunate that I caught my cancer before it had spread beyond the prostate. I caught sepsis from my directed transrectal biopsy and spent a lovely few days in ICU flirting with the nurses and trying not to mess up the bed and floor too much. I have 9 weeks

PSMA scans and radiation of oligometastases
I need some advice on a subject that I know has been covered before: PSMA scans and radiation of oligometastases. G4+5=9, RP in 2014. Positive margins, IMRT and ADT in 2015. PSA undetectable until 2019, now slowly rising at 0.40, doubling time 11 months. My questions/concerns about the scan

Thyroid and the Menstrual Cycle?
When I was first diagnosed with Graves diseases my periods had practically stopped. I had no period for almost a year thinking the menopause was to blame. Kratom anti-depressant, anti-psychotic, anti-anxiety herb!
I've recently come across an herbal suppliment that has realy helped me. If you research it you'll find that it has some potential for abuse. It effects opioid receptors. Just like opiod meds.
