If immediately stopping after two years taking Orgovyx how long before testosterone begins to rise?

I’ve heard that testosterone returns quicker if using Orgovyx compared to Lupron. But I also heard that the longer on any ADT the longer the recovery. Or maybe testosterone never recovers? What do you guys think question

There is data for about one year: 90 days for testosterone recovery.

I personally would continue with Bicalutamide which will increase the testosterone level.

Yes, it does. But it also works against prostate cancer while just stopping with Orgovyx will leave you without therapy. You can take Tamoxifen against boobs.

Whats about radiation to the boobs? Would it help?

Yes, it will help, but Tamoxifen is more effective I think.

The weakest point of Bicalutamide is its low price. One month's supply of the original Casodex costs here 44 Euros, while the generic "Bicalut" almost half of that.

I don't understand why is low price a weak point?

Because there are non-existing margins for promotional campaigns. As a result Bicalutamide is bad mouthed as a thing of the past, not-potent enough, etc, with the industry's effort being to shift patients towards the second generation lutamides which, being under pattern, cost 20-50 times more, facilitating promotional campaigns. In my case Bicalutamide is pure "dynamite". I purposely keep my PSA at the lower limits of lab detection with only one 50mg pill every 8 days!

Thanks for explaining me. What is the biological half life of the drug if you can take it only once in 8 days and it is effective? Or is it so because of some other reason?

Are you taking something else or just bicalutamide?

1) Short answer re half life 5-7 days. I split a 50mg Bicalutamide tablet into 2 and take half every 4 days. Long (to very long) answer here:

healthunlocked.com/prostate...

2) I take Avodart daily and 10 mg Tamoxifen (to counteract Gynaecomastia) 3 days out of four starting with the day of half tablet.

After one year on Orgovyx, my testosterone recovered in about 6 weeks after I stopped. This is much faster than Lupron. My T did not recover until 8 months after my second “3 month” Lupron shot.
