RLS and Bruxism/TMJ
I was just wondering if anyone else on here alsohas trouble with TMJ or teeth grinding? Strangely, my dentist was the first to mention it, before RLS was diagnosed. I never put them together until I was reading that it has neurological origins. Also linked to anxiety, which I have. I look forward

Getting transfusion dependent
However, there is evidence now that Metformin creates
anaemia
even in folk without MPNs. Can’t win. Am seeing haematologist in 2 weeks for discussion of options.

mCV blood test
a quick google tells me this relates to red blood cells and vitamins B12 and folate. Just wanted to check with you experts if this is correct? I have had a few full count blood tests and my levels have been 99 and 103 from a range of 75-105. I haven’t had blood tests yet that separate the vitamins

Worried about blood tests
Repeated blood count in April and haemoglobins were very low and I was diagnosed with
anaemia
again but that was attributed to my heavy periods which got a lot worse since last year. Last week I finally had my gastro appointment, 9 months post referral.

Does a TSH of 5.16 mean that I have mild hypothyroidism?
Hello, I'm new to the thyroid group, but am a member of the pernicious
anaemia
group. I'm in the US. About 6 months ago, I asked for my thyroid to be tested, because often times people with PA also have other autoimmune issues like thyroiditis or hashimoto's. My TSH is 5.16.

Solutions for Severe Anemia
Hubby thought he was finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel, but unfortunately had a duodenal bleed in December. Ever since he’s been severely anemic. If he exerts himself in any way he becomes dizzy, nauseous and needs to have a nap for an hour or so. He feels tired all the time. It’s been three

Can someone help me to understand my blood results. Seems I will need treatment soon
After 5 years of W&W the consultant at Marsden is now of the opinion that now would be a good time to start treatment. He is, I believe, recommending O&V being first line treatment in the UK NHS. I am mutated. and key results are as follows ; WBC 98.6, HGB 123, RBC 4.21, MCHC 308, Neutrophils 13.8,

Causes of iron overload / hemochromatosis
The symptoms of which, can be similar to
anaemia
apparently (fatigue being a key one). Below are my results, in effect I’m just outside the range on all but iron itself. I currently take T3 only - could this be a sign that I am taking too much?

GP failed to inform me of Chronic Hep C positive test result for 7 years?
I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep C in 2007 after my GP requested a blood test, as I was suffering with shortness of breath and severe
anaemia
symptoms. The results came back saying I had "chronic active hepatitis".

Low Iron and Vitamin D
My daughter has just received her ferritin results back from her GP. She hasn’t been issued with any iron tablets the graph shows she’s within the normal range but it is down at the bottom end when it needs to be at an optimal level, so I've read, My question is, can anyone recommend a good Iron vitamin

Changes to menstruation during B12 loading therapy?
As a result he is confident with his diagnosis and has written t my GP to state he believes I have "immune-negative pernicious
anaemia
(B12 deficiency)" and that the problem is with my stomach, despite auto-immune tests being negative.

mood supplement Advice
I supplement with vit d, selenium, b complex, magnesium and iron for
anaemia
. And probiotics. My main issue that is bothering me most though, even above the pain is mood. I’m not depressed, but I feel in a bad mood a lot, irritable, angry no patience. Like I am pre-menstrual almost.

17 hour flight
I have been invited to a wedding in Louisiana later this year. My RLS is still problematic but manageable at home with Buprenorphine and Pregabalin and walking around / standing up. I am doubtful about the 17 hours flights. I can't ever remember going that long without several attacks of RLS. I've

Severe Anemia and Imbruvica
I have been on 400mm Imbruvica for 6 years fighting CLL/SLL. I understand most patients consider them the same, I do not as I am tested every 4 months for both during Labs. So, please know this is not a debate for me, I simply have symptoms of both in post Labs with my Oncology expert. Most recently
