"
Every 17 seconds, a diabetic is diagnosed and every 30 seconds a diabetic leg
takes place somewhere in the world". This seems unbelievable, but true...This is what the official
journal of the American Diabetic Association says...

Cost of diabetic care in India.
Hence every diabetic person should save a part of income to meet the expenditure for the treatment of diabetic complications such as heart attack, stroke, kidney failure,
amputation
of the foot, diabetic retinopathy and laser cataract eye surgery.

amputation
) and second, intense and persistent mental activities, i. e. ideas and representations and their associated feelings, which can be activated by the presence

Worst year of my life
Since 2016 he has had
amputation
, stroke and now kidney failure and heart attack. He is only 41! Living in a nursing home as he can't care for himself. I've been there for all of it but his Mommy has overpowered the situation and pushed me away. I'm crushed, anxious worse than ever.

Keep Active to Stay Healthy
After my kidney transplant in 2012, I experienced two below-knee amputations in the next two years. I learnt to walk using two prosthetic legs, aided by two walking sticks. I am encouraged to keep active to stay healthy, so I go on twice weekly walks, one with my walking coach, and twice weekly gym sessions

PAD Like CVD - Lifestyle Changes Needed
It looks as if he could face
amputation
of the right leg within the next year. Interventional surgery is regarded as too high a risk at the moment as he refuses to make the lifestyle changes required - cutting down on alcohol and stopping smoking.

Big changes
I have some news which I hope you will be pleased to share with me. I have met the kindest man and we have dated for about four months and we just got engaged. I am so very happy! He has a condition so similar to MS, called transverse myelitis. It was so difficult for him they actually had to amputate

Is it possible to have an endoscopy sitting up
I find it near impossible to do I had an
amputation
of my right leg above knee which wasn’t done well the bone was cut too short leaving about 6 inches of flesh with no bone. I phoned them and asked could it be done sitting up and was told that could be arranged.
