change of meds
Hi everybody, I have had to get some different painkillers for my RA as the mtx, ibuprofen,
amitriptyline
, co-codamol, and hydroxychloraquin were not working so I am weaning off the
amitriptyline
, and started on Pregbalin.

Restless leg syndrome??
I take
amitriptyline
, zopiclone, diazepam, aripiprazole, metformin, lisinopril, fenofexadine, naproxen, paracetamol, meberberine, lansoprazole, nasonex spray. Sometimes gabapentin for neuralgia. Do you think it might be restless leg syndrome? If so does anyone know what causes it please.

Sertraline or Amitriptyline for muscle relaxer?
Hi everyone, I am just wondering from anyone who has tried both of these drugs which one works best to relax muscle spasms? I was on Sertraline for anxiety but had side effects so came off before I had chance to see if it helped with Fibromyalgia muscular pains. Has anyone tried this? Thanks.

After years of tests my gp thinks it is fibro/cfs even though rhemutologist a few months ago said i didn't have it. How's your gp?
My GP did give me a trial of 10mg of
amitriptyline
to try and help with sleep at night. Anyone prescribed this drug and dose? Has it helped with sleep?

PMR or Fibromyalgia?
(Ibuprofen gel, codeine,
amitriptyline
, nortriptyline). I haven't had my CRP/ESR levels checked but I'm aware that these may not be elevated with PMR anyway. I really, really don't want to increase the pred.

What time to take Amitriptyline?
Hi all. From the start of taking Ami, I was told to take the dose an hour before bed, it would help me sleep. I can report that currently up to 40mg, it is not doing much for the headaches and has NO sleepy effect on me, in-fact I often can't sleep. I am thinking it would be more beneficial to spread

I was prescribed
Amitriptyline
(20mgs) but can only manage 5mgs a night without feeling completely depressed (even though it is an antidepressant) and spaced out. So my question is, has anyone tried all these tablets unsuccessfully and eventually found one that suits them.

Weight gain & Acne From Medication??
I also take Pregabalin, Zomorph,
Amitriptyline
and Mirtazapine for my Fibromyalgia and PTSD. My problem is how much weight I have gained (40lbs in 3 months) And have terrible acne on my face particularly my jaw line and neck. I'm so miserable and barely leave the house.

Does anyone else suffer with severe skin conditions or allergies whilst taking
Amitriptyline
& Levothyroxine? Now clutching at straws, desperate to find some relief. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.
