Can i take paracetamol while im on amitriptyline and etoricoxib it's for bad back pain

I'm sorry you are still in pain.

I don't know.

There are a few medications which might be better than paracetamol for back pain. Ibuprohpen and Naproxin come to mind as a first tier.

This is really one to ask your Doctor.

I do hope you get his fixed soon.

Back pain is so debilitating both physically and in terms of energy.

No I've tried everythink co-codimal ,tramadol, Morphine,Naproxen amitriptyline nowI'm on etoricoxib 60MG and amitriptyline 25mg so I might just to take paracetamol with the tablets I'm talking now thank you

I'm so sorry its that bad.

You've been through it all.

I hope you do't think I was being patronising. As you will know polypharmacy can be an art rather than a science.

Are you able to get about much at all?

How do you cope?

I find it hard when I walk that sets it off I can't standing to long I can't pick up anythink off the floor and I'm not allowed to carry shopping or pick up my grandchildren it's so hard but you just get on with it I'm like this everyday.

That's hard - I've been there, but not everyday.

I guess you will have looked at chiroptacty if it is a ruptured disc?

My wife takes Amatriptaline before bed and takes paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain. She's not on Etoricoxib a drug I've not heard of.

Etoricoxib is for use for arthritis and gout so I don't no why I'm on it because I was told I didn't have arthritis.

I'd ask your doctor or possibly call the pharmacist you get meds from and see. One medicine dad was on a few years ago had over 150 known interactions with other medicines. It really made giving him anything difficult.
