Best mix of meds to treat migraine (UK)
I'm sure like many of you I feel I can't go on like this, I take 50mg
Amitriptyline
daily with Dolovent migraine supplement and CBD oil. I have tried Botox, I have gone gluten free, but still no better (oh weekly acupuncture too!)

amitriptyline
Been told to increase my dosage to from 30mg 40mg due to the pain not easing., but on UK guidelines it says only go up to 30mg for IBS pain. Is anyone taking higher than 30mg (for IBS-unrelated to anxiety/depression) if so does it work/do you recommend?

Small Fibre Neuropathy in feet
I was prescribed with a low dose of
amitriptyline
which does not really help except gives me a good night's sleep. Also if anybody uses anything natural which helps without resorting to medication and the awful side effects. I would be very grateful for your comments xx

I haven’t been diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome but think the problem has been due to
Amitriptyline
. Since I had my steroid jab last week I’ve felt so much better & halved my
Amitriptyline
to 50mg.

Hello again everyone :-)
In the end I have been prescribed with
amitriptyline
for my pelvic pain and to see how that goes. I've been taking Ferritin tablets now for a week as my doctor said that my iron was low.

Newbie 👋
I went to the doctors today as over the weekend I was in unbearable pain and he’s given me some
amitriptyline
..... starting at 10mg increase to 20 next week. I just wondered what to expect now I’ve been actually diagnosed?

Pain and pregabalin
I’m starting back on pregabalin 75 mg I stopped before as I was worried about the side effects as I have read on one site that you need to keep upping it and that you have memory loss and sight problems but at the moment it does seem the best one for my nerve pain relief along with 10 mg

So if you havent yet tired or are still looking for something get your doc to proscribe
Amitriptyline
50mg 1 at night..brill for getting a good sleep too no daytime grogginess either next day. Cant believe i discovered it myself as with other pains self diagnoses was the best route.

Gel Treatment and suggestions on pain relief
I’ve tried numerous drugs, the most recent was
amitriptyline
and it wasn’t giving me any pain relief. I do my very best to stay fit. With swimming and Yoga and my local gym has amazing equipment for wha I need. I try to eat healthy as much as I can and I’ve quit smoking.

Fibro and pregabalin and amitriptyline
So reading on here is it the
amitriptyline
and the pregabalin together or is it just one of the medications. I know each one effects everyone differently. And I am sick of the medication rollercoaster I have been on.

Another medication and first virus of the year
Then last Monday, the 3rd, my daughter said I'd just had a phone call from the surgery saying there was a prescription for me for
amitriptyline
for my neuralgia and it would be waiting for me at the chemists.

Amitriptyline
Anyway, after 2 days hubby rang and doctor returned call stating he wanted him to take
amitriptyline
. We know it is an anti depressant which he did not want to take as he has had problems with similar drugs in the past. Told it is given to IBS patients to help with stomach problems.

I’m still taking vitamin D supplements, using my B12 patches and going for injections, as well as being prescribed
Amitriptyline
to help with deep sleep and muscle repair.
