Vulvodynia - new member trying to gain some insight with people suffering similar symptoms
In April I was prescribed
amitriptyline
but I didn't feel this made much difference. I was changed onto pregablin and then gabapentin (which I still take). Again, I don't feel like this medication makes any difference. Over the months I've tried various creams - vagisil, steroid, canesten, e45.

What works for me - Amitriptyline
The main one seemed to be
Amitriptyline
, it seemed a bit scary going on antidepressants as I'd heard a few things (makes you a zombie etc). But I asked my gp for a low starting dose and before I could even show him the report I'd found he said yes.

Dry mouth caused by meds
I have been given
amitriptyline
to take on top of my normal heart meds while they work out what's going on in my brain, either TIAs or hemiplegic migraines. Anyway they give me the most horrendous dry mouth and my GP nurse suggested I try Biotene products, you can get gel, mouthwash etc.

Best mix of meds to treat migraine (UK)
I'm sure like many of you I feel I can't go on like this, I take 50mg
Amitriptyline
daily with Dolovent migraine supplement and CBD oil. I have tried Botox, I have gone gluten free, but still no better (oh weekly acupuncture too!)

amitriptyline
Been told to increase my dosage to from 30mg 40mg due to the pain not easing., but on UK guidelines it says only go up to 30mg for IBS pain. Is anyone taking higher than 30mg (for IBS-unrelated to anxiety/depression) if so does it work/do you recommend?

Small Fibre Neuropathy in feet
I was prescribed with a low dose of
amitriptyline
which does not really help except gives me a good night's sleep. Also if anybody uses anything natural which helps without resorting to medication and the awful side effects. I would be very grateful for your comments xx

I haven’t been diagnosed with Sjogren’s Syndrome but think the problem has been due to
Amitriptyline
. Since I had my steroid jab last week I’ve felt so much better & halved my
Amitriptyline
to 50mg.

Hello again everyone :-)
In the end I have been prescribed with
amitriptyline
for my pelvic pain and to see how that goes. I've been taking Ferritin tablets now for a week as my doctor said that my iron was low.

Newbie 👋
I went to the doctors today as over the weekend I was in unbearable pain and he’s given me some
amitriptyline
..... starting at 10mg increase to 20 next week. I just wondered what to expect now I’ve been actually diagnosed?
