My story...general advice please, feeling very low
Since then I've been on regular codeine 60mg, laxatives, anti sickness,
amitriptyline
and oramorph. I'm rarely able to get out of bed. I have toe curling pain when I wee and bowel spasms when I open my bowels which leave me in a cold sweat with the pain.

Please help with my cluster headaches
I've been told that
amitriptyline
is also used and us normally taken at night before going to bed. Could I use the two at the same time. I'm also trying to explore any alternatives such as pure lemon juice / chiropractor etc. Try to follow strict food sleep routines rtf.

Those who've kicked Chron's Naturally
She was placed on
Amitriptyline
today (10mg) dose. She'll start taking it tonight. I hope it helps the pain. In the meantime I'd like feedback from those who have nipped this issue once in for all...the natural way if possible. If you required meds to help you back to normalcy, what are they?

BUSPIRONE - WEEK 2
I have been on
Amitriptyline
, Propranolol and Alprazolam (Xanax - a benzo) for years now. They worked well and then about 2 years ago I developed the health anxiety and agoraphobia. They tried pregabalin and wanted to put me on Duloxitene.

Gabapentin / Pregabalin
Just had my first session with the Pain Management team and the woman (who was lovely) suggested swapping my usual codeine/tramadol combination to
amitriptyline
/gabapentin (75/1200mg) I’m just wondering if anyone is on this combination & is it more effective?

Hi
The consultant has advised I try
Amitriptyline
and just wanted to know if this is standard procedure and if there is any significant benefits and side effects I should be aware of. Also can I take both at the same time. Doe’s this time of year with the damp weather make anybody else feel worse!

suggestions?
I'm currently on
amitriptyline
which has helped most of all. The worst part all this is the lack of understanding or any sympathy by others. Not having a strong support system definately hinders change. Neurologists dont really have many answers. Any sughestions?
