Other recommendations for management of endometriosis?
I have some removed and it has since been managed with the desogestral pill (the one where you don’t take breaks) and
amitriptyline
. I have started bleeding 2-3 weeks a month again and the pain is getting worse again.

I have RA and fibromyalgia and take hydrox, methotrexate &
amitriptyline
. Like many of you my condition causes my blood ‘stores’ to get low. (I’m told this isn’t the same as anaemia but it does make me feel pretty rubbish when they get really low!?).

On a rollercoaster of emotions
I’m on Zoloft and
amitriptyline
but I don’t think they are working. I’ve never experienced anger like this before and it hurts. Either I have intense anger or I’m crying.

Confused
The Medication I take is Thyroxine for Hypothyroidism, Flutiform for very mild Asthma and
Amitriptyline
10mg one a night. The only other thing to add is that I am a 61 year old Menopausal woman. I was hoping to start taking HRT again following the outcome of the Ablation procedure.

Evening!!
Good evening all, wanted to share a little good news, after 10 years of being on 20mg of
amitriptyline
I have managed to wean myself down to 10mg in about a month. I thought it would have a bearing on my pain levels but I thought wrong, I always considered
amitriptyline
as a pain helper.

TENS : An Alternative Option for Management of PAIN From Multiple Causes
In this trial, TENS plus
amitriptyline
produced 66% pain relief, which was significantly more than the 55% pain relief in subjects receiving
amitriptyline
plus sham stimulation [70].

So much pain
Got yet another appontment with a consultant, just want him to check what's going on inside, this constant pain can't just be IBS it's been continuous for about 4-5 weeks, GP gave me
amitriptyline
have taken them for 4 nights up to now and they seem to make things worse, burning sensation when I pee

Vomiting after taking medication
I had to take my usual dose of MST &
amitriptyline
. About 35 minutes later I vomited... a lot. I'm feeling a bit better now that I've been sick. However, I am really really worried that I've thrown up my pain killers. With it being MST, I'm guessing it doesn't dissolve straight away.
