So I was feeling a bit sickly. Like a normal little vomit bug sickly.
I had to take my usual dose of MST & amitriptyline. About 35 minutes later I vomited... a lot. I'm feeling a bit better now that I've been sick. However, I am really really worried that I've thrown up my pain killers. With it being MST, I'm guessing it doesn't dissolve straight away. I just don't want to double dose incase I didn't throw them up.
I guess I will know by 9pm when I feel like I'm going through withdrawals if they stayed put or not but it's giving me a bit of anxiety not knowing.
Does anyone know if its well enough time for it to go into the blood stream?

Guess by now you have your answer.? It isn’t unusual for me to vomit but I don’t retake any medications afterwards. I feel some will have gotten into my system and don’t want to risk taking too much. Also because been on meds for along time I believe I have built up amount in system so unlikely to have affect if one dose is reduced.
I agree with others, please consult your GP or 111 or any other Healthcare Professional, sorry to hear your feeling unwell, hopefully it will pass, all the best.
sorry to hear about the vomit, the chats to docs in the past has resulted in 'do not take anymore pills until you're sure the previous have not entered your bloodstream' ,i suspect you know by now and can take the next pills early. good luck. sorry could not help more.
Thanks everyone for the replys. Unfortunately I think I had thrown up my meds so that night my pain was through the roof as well as vomiting every hour. It would have been pointless taking any more pills as I wouldn't have kept them down at all. I just pushed through as best as I could. I'm still not feeling great.... in fact I feel like I've been smacked in the head. I've managed to keep water down now for about 12 hours so I think the sickness has passed and my body is just trying to recover after the battering it's received the last 2 days. It was 100% a tummy bug, probably something I've caught from the kids I work with.
