Other recommendations for management of endometriosis?

Hi, I was diagnosed with endometriosis 2 years ago. I have some removed and it has since been managed with the desogestral pill (the one where you don’t take breaks) and amitriptyline . I have started bleeding 2-3 weeks a month again and the pain is getting worse again. I am wondering if anyone can suggest something rather than this the current pill I am on, as it isn’t working. Ideally I would like regular periods or none. And if there’s a recommendation for no hormones even better. As I am feeling very emotional and not myself on the pills

Hi, it's worth speaking to your GP or consultant to see if they can recommend anything else to try. It might also be worth trying some alternative therapies to see if there is anything else that might work for you. Some people find acupuncture helps with pain as can homeopathy. Diet changes can also help with balancing out hormones out reducing inflammation, I found that diet made a big difference to managing my symptoms so may be worth testing out some other things if you haven't already.
