Sorry me again!
Sorry but I need your wealth of knowledge again. I've developed an angry rash on my back. It's only palm size at the moment but it is inflamed and itchy. I've been taking 20mg of amitriptyline. Could it be a reaction to this? Has anyone else suffered from a rash?

When one type of medication can react with another.
I'm on Maxitram (Tramadol) , Cocodamol 300/500 , Gabapentine ,Amitriptyline I was orginally on Florexitine (antidepression) and one of the Gps took me off it she said it could cause a serotionan (sorry can not remember spelling) attack with taking Tramadol as well. I was then put on Amitriptyline

Amitriptyline for pain relief & fatigue with endo
Hi Ladies, Been struggling recently following Thyroid surgery and docs are happy my levels are acceptable so they are convinced my fatigue and weight gain are due to my endo. So they want to try and improve my pain and fatigue so I can workout harder and lose the weight. They have prescribed amitriptyline

Anything for pain?
I was taking Amitriptyline for pain but after telling my GP it didn't help I was taken off it completely. I take already codeine, paracetamol, ibuprofen and buscopan. Heartburn and indigestion tablets for when I feel sick as well as using heat pads, hot water bottles and microwave bean bears. I don't

Just had Diagnosis
No idea what to do now. Are my symptoms real or imagined? How can I sleep at night and be tired all day? Physio says I just got to walk more! can't even get my shoes on some mornings. Where do I start? Doctor has given me Amitriptyline which seems to help some nights/days but not others.

Proctalgia fugax (whaaaat?)
Well, in my continuing quest to explore the outer limits of human endurance, I added another extreme activity to my repertoire last night. What I omitted from my account yesterday was that I spent about half an hour of the night in the most *excruciating* pain. Worse than when I broke my femur, worse

Fatigue/insomnia - is mirtazapine helpful?
Since last summer, I have been experiencing very poor sleep, and extreme fatigue. Episodes of nausea, sweating and shaking seem to follow any exertion. MY rheumy suggests that chronic insomnia is preventing my body recovering and perpetuating this extreme fatigue etc. So I have been on 30mg amitriptyline

Hi, I'm 20 years old and have suspected Endometriosis, I get serve pain regularly and was recently subscribed Amitriptyline, an antidepressant, for the pain. Has anyone else had this? Or found that it has worked? I've been complaining at them for the past year about this and only recently after changing

Ketamine for depression?
Has anyone ever heard of this? If you're not familiar, ketamine is used as an anesthetic in animals and children. It was (and might still be) popular as a party drug (special K) and people would end up in a "k-hole" completely f***ed up and unable to function. I saw an ad recently for a clinic in New
