anxious and highly upset.
My mother just told me she can't take it anymore and might have a stroke or heart attack with the burden on her. its because my brother is re all obese and he misbehaves SO BAD. And my 2 year old brother is following the example of my other brother. I try to tell them but none of them listen to me. And

Another concern
Went to my doctor's the other day to check my cholesterol and was told that I have a high level of triglycerides, which puts me at risk for heart attacks. Anybody also have this? If so, do you have any advice going forward?

In no man's land
Greetings, y'all. Here's the pickle I'm in: My neurologist said my DaTscan shows an 80 percent likelihood of PD and 20 percent of something they can't figure out. I'm stuck in limbo over here, as I'm a poor candidate for any of the meds or even trials aimed at PD. I wanted to try inosine, but she said

Heart
I really thought I was through the worst part of this. Has anyone gotten heart palpitations for two days straight and what did you do about it. I've been drinking Linden leaf tea everyday for its soothing qualities, now I've read alot of it can cause heart problems. This jumpy feeling in my chest almost

Blocked Artery and Stents
I've been on Warfarin for nearly 5 years. I had cardioversion 3 years ago and this was successful, exceptfor two short re-occurrences. The latest was about 3 weeks ago. It lasted about 48 hours and part way through I had a dizzy spell, felt nauseous, and sweated profusely. The sweating I put down to

Missed/ extra heartbeats
Hi I had a heart attack 1 year ago and had a stent fitted at the time, and another in Jan 2015. Still have 1 artery at 75% blocked but as heart pump test was 50% no further stents were fitted. On the usual tablets except statin as also have pbc. Recently I've had missed or extra heartbeats. I mentioned

Feel like I'm going crazy!!
Hi. I visited the docs about 6 weeks ago as I was getting constant palpatations & my heartbeat was really fast. I had an ECG & blood test, both came back fine & I was told it was anxiety. I've always been someone that worries over the smallest things but its never affected me medically before. I'm on

Chest pain caused by anxiety
Hope this might be useful - I tend to suffer from chest pain associated with anxiety, which doesn't help if your anxiety is caused by the lipid clinic trying to convince you you're about to have a heart attack if you don't follow their advice. My latest bout coinciding with my last visit! Anyway I

Coronary Calcification
For so many years the message has been that high cholesterol (specifically high LDL) is the predictor of heart disease. However, increasingly it seems that the best predictor is not high cholesterol, but calcification of the arteries. And the take home appears to be that if you have a zero or low calcium

Statins
I've just been told by my doc that my Q risk is 31.7, which means I have a 1 in 3 chance of stroke or heart attack in the next ten years. She has prescribed Statins, I'm already taking Amiodarone, Bisoprolol and Warfarin. Is anyone else taking the statins while taking rythmn meds? Thanks

Do not understand
I have just come out of hospital after chest pain and shortness of breath. I am told by the heart team that I didn't have a heart attack, however they found a small level of troponin (24) in my bloods and I was told that it raised between the 2nd and 3rd blood test. I thought that unless there was something

Pulmonary Embolism :(
Well hey guys first of all my anxiety for heart attack is gone :) but a new fear has come along, I constantly think I have pulmonary embolism. I've been having pains on the left side of my back. It hurts when I touch it. Is this a blood clot to my lung?!?! I'm freaking out

Fear of Dying of a Heart Attack
I felt a sudden press on my chest area 3 days ago and it was like I was having a heart attack and frankly I don't know if it was a real but short heart attack or something temporary. I'm just 18. I didn't want to go crazy and I calmed myself down but it scared me so much. I have shortness of breath,

Heart attack anxiety again
So for a week now I've been experiencing these symptoms: Pain in shoulder blades (it was sudden and sharp but went away) weird feeling on the left side of my chest, shortness of breathe, and sense of impending doom. All these of which are symptoms of heart attack. They all came on at different times
