Just a Ropinerol update
I'm now on 1.5mg from 6mg and starting to struggle. I had my bloods doneand my ferritin level was pretty low, so my GP has started me on iron. I'm also taking magnesium too. I've found having an electric blanket really helpful. It seems to be relaxing to my nerves. I'm starting to jerk a bit now throughout

Proud of my little pink line showing T3 prescribed by NHS š
I've put my surgery on the T3 prescribing graph š and hopefully started a learning curve for them!! They have 3 surgeries which cover a 15 mile radius and 10,000 patients... yet I'm the only one that needs T3??? Really!! This little line denotes 28 items this year about to become 34 as I request my

High T4
Hi Greygoose, I've seen your reply to Helen'shubby. Just wondering about my T4 and T3 . I'm awaiting new test results but my last test showed T4 at 22.4 ( 7.5- 21.1) ( 109.56%) FT3 4.9 (3.8-6.8) (36.67%) TSH is always undetectable B12 351 (110- 914.0) I am supplementing now (nature provides 3000mcg daily

Latest results - 6 weeks pregnant
Hello friends š Following my last tests (a bit over 2 months ago), I added vitamin b12 drops 3 days a week, have cut down my B complex to 1 capsule, and I taking a separate Folate supplement as this was getting quite high, and it was pointed out to me that it is a "Goldilocks vitamin" when trying to

I read that it isn't advisable to take thyroxine with suppressed TSH and T4!
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone is taking thyroxine with a suppressed T4 (6.6 range 08-19.1) and TSH 0.01 I read on google, it's not advisable if levels above, are suppressed or you have adrenal fatigue, which I have suffered from in the past. My main medication is 40 mcg of T3 which makes a big difference

Latest thyroid test results
Hi everyone, After being underdosed on 25mcg of Levothyroxine for almost a decade, my new GP increased my dose to 50mcg around 6 months ago. The increase was done slowly over 6 weeks, as advised by people in this group. I had some blood tests done two days ago and today I got a message from the GP saying

Hello
Hi there This is my first post so wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I was first diagnosed with Hashimotoās 6 years ago, and struggled with accepting there was an issue and then with the wealth of conflicting opinions. I couldnāt get why if it is such a common thing why itās not taken more seriously

Some advice please
Hi, I'm in surgical menopause and have not felt 'well' for a number of years now. I won't bore you with the backstory of my trials and tribulations with HRT, all in the pursuit of feeling well enough to fully function. I've questioned Thyroid for some time, I had tests last September and posted them

Monitor My Health iron test - lack of ranges
I spent a bit more money on my MMH test this year as Iāve never had an iron panel done but have always had low iron indicators on a full blood test. I didnāt get complete results as ferritin failed (posting the kit back took 48 hours when it was tracked to take 24) but the results I did get, I canā

anti-tpo how high is high?
hi Iāve posted before about my tsh coming back as <0.001 with slightly low free t4 and normal free t3 and was told I should get antibodies tested. Gp seems to think I have Subclinical hyperthyroidism and is only paying attention to the odd tsh result and wants to repeat it in 2 months. Iāve had them

Biotin interference with Thyroid bloodwork
I am due for follow up blood work and just remembered that biotin interferes with the test results. How far in advance must I quit taking my B complex which has 100% daily requirement of Biotin? My last TSH a few months ago was .03, super low for me. I usually run between 1.5 and 2. But my FT4 was

Hi Until December last I was taking 40 mg iron bisglycinate with orange juice every two days. Since this had little impact on my RLS I increased the iron dose to 40mg every day from December until now. As yet I have noticed little change to my RLS symptoms. A blood test this month showed my ferritin

Ferritin
I have just had an Advanced Thyroid Test from Medichecks. My Free T4 and Free T3 may look good but I have been getting a return of my symptoms so have upped my NDT from 2.5 grains to 3. It is my ferritin which I am not happy about. Is it too low? I eat very little red meat which is probably why it is

Hi I posted a while ago about the brand of thyroxine Iām on (Accord), just had my blood results. Recently moved doctors. After getting my results doctor has advised if you take thyroxine the NHS will only test TSH now. My old doctors used to do T4 and TSH. I could never get T3 done. On a positive

Help, need your help
My TSH is .37 so I am low. Do I need to take a higher dose of Synthroid or a lower dose of Synthroid. I canāt remember how that works. My T3 and T4 are within normal ranges.
