3 month testing after chemo
Husband finished chemo end of feb and has just gotten his test results ! It has been nerve racking to say the least! So at end of chemo 6.9 and now three months after the last psa test he’s 7.1. He dropped from 4300 at the time of diagnosis . It was a different lab and that may make the difference. Testerone

Are multiple nuclear dot ANA patterns ever seen in "normal" people?
Hey folks! I was hoping you all might be able to answer a few questions I haven't been able to answer on my own. For brief context, I've been experiencing a number of unknown health issues over the last several years. The TL;DR symptoms have been: - Soul-crushing fatigue - Arthritic pain for the first

Spinal cord stimulator
I was recently recommended for a spinal cord stimulator (SCS) implant, as I have failed all conservative pain management attempts (both pharmacological and non-pharmacological) for neuropathic pain. I found out earlier this week that I was approved for a four day trial, which is scheduled for 6/25/18

Hospital docs reading notes after I've left!!!
Went for routine rheumatology appointment a few weeks ago. The doc dropped something on the floor as I walked in. She went down on hands and knees to pick it up but was down there for a few minuets to the point I asked if I should help, no she replied. I'm not used to doctors waving their bums at me

New here: AMA + GGT?
Hello, I'm a 30 year old female. Months ago I saw my family doctor about a range of symptoms and he did a bunch of tests. Initially the results showed ANA positive at 1:640 cytoplasmic reticular and AMA positive 1:320. I've seen a rheumatologist who referred me to a gastroenterologist, I'm still waiting

Broken bones, vertebrae, loss of calcium
Hello I'm asking for help, we are losing hope. My sister, who is 54 years old since november 2017 has broken 11 vertebrae it was not caused by fall or some injury. To this day, doctors do not now how to diagnose the illness or find the cause. The calcium is losing and is not saving to the bones. The

Just looking for some advice!
I suffer from Juevenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, but was diagnosed with Lupus last year by my GO. Circumstances have forces me to stop working and recently in trying to get treatment the ANA test result came back normal. I know the symptoms from RA, and although they are similar, there has to be something

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired 😓
Hi all I’ve never posted before but really wanted some advice - I know no one here is a doctor but I really appreciate your opinions. I think that I may have lupus but despite having a positive ANA and P-ANCA the GP told me the results were TOO WEAKLY positive to be a concern despite me being symptomatic

Chemo 18 dripping now. Good news on response.
Chemo 18 is 12 docetaxol and this is 6th jevtana. Stay the course, put next one off till 4 weeks for the Cornwall trip. The comparative bone scan showed marked decrease metastatic disease in right hip. Also on the ct many other spots were reduced. Mildly anemic 3.17 on red blood cells, whites are at

Rheumatoid Factor of 96 but Negative ANA test...what does that mean?
My name is Katherine and I am a 33 year old female. I have moving joint pain in pretty much every joint in my body (elbows, fingers, back, hips, knees, feet etc). My RF came back 96 but my ANA test came out negative. Can anyone explain what that means? Thanks so much!

I need a reminder...
Hi PBC family, I Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected. And for those of you experiencing the worst of this stupid disease, many prayers go out for you everyday ❤. I know several of you have experienced upper right quadrant pain or URQP. Some have described it as a dull ache that may radiate

April, at least here in the South East of England, has continued the long, dark, wet winter. Even Scotland is doing better than us! The good news is that our website (www.ghic.world) is now fully up and running.
