Ped5i/Tadalafil etc as a benefit to SE of ADT?
So these are all issues which are impacted by
ADT
. It seems to me daily cialis would be the perfect fit for those of us with PCa on
ADT
dealing with the above SE's and issues. I take 5mg cialis daily for BPH (no more flowmax). My MO says fine, neutral about the rest.

RT with ADT Relogolix (Orgovyx) vs Enzalutamide (Xtandi) Side Effect Differences?
Conclusion "...enzalutamide may be as efficacious as
ADT
as an adjuvant treatment in combination with RT. It may be better tolerated than

apalutamide vs. abiraterone
My husband has been recommended
ADT
+ abiraterone + prednisone for two years. My friend who is an oncologist suggested apalutamide instead as it doesn't need to be supplements with prednisone and has less side effects. Wanted your opinion.

ADT & Mets
Are we wasting time going onto
ADT
if that treatment is mainly for contained PCa? Or will the
ADT
put a lid on the Mets wherever they are in our body? Keep in mind that we are totally oblivious of having Mets at the time of starting
ADT

Diet for ADT
What diet should I be following while on
ADT
for the next two years? Guidelines from handout sheets are contradictary and unclear. I have been on Orgovyx for almost three months, starting on February 27, 2024. My PSA has dropped from 9.2 to 1.2 to 0.9.

Estrogens and Castrate/Treatment Resistance?
Has anyone using estrogens (estradiol) as the primary agent of
ADT
(androgen deprivation therapy) had their prostate cancer become resistant (androgen independent) to the treatment?

Can we trust AI analysis?
The first chose no
ADT
with radiation and the second chose 12 months of
ADT
after surgery and follow up radiation after PSA rise. I guess only time and luck will tell if that was the correct decision for each of us.

The 2024 Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference (APCCC) meeting-- Chock full of Testosterone...
First, the warmup with a case study and the message that when it comes to testosterone recovery, short term
ADT
can take 18 months and long term
ADT
to 2 years for recovery...while Relugolix (Orgovyx) was 60 days..

ADT with radiation?
Do I need to take
ADT
with the radiation therapy? My MO suggested 4 to 6 months of Orgavix (not sure if I'm spelling it correctly). If I need to take an
ADT
which medication has the least bad side effects?

ADT
for 6 months during and after radiation treatment. I am really wondering how necessary the

is given my favorable intermediate risk factors given the PSA, MRI and Biopsy results?

Was there ever really a chance for a cure?
Is it stated anywhere in the medical studies what that 3 yr of
ADT
does and why it makes a difference toward a cure, or at least why the Stampede protocol insists on it.

early new diagnosed low volume metastatic disease and treatment comparisons
Basically the interview concludes in new cases of low volume metastatic cancer, the data suggests throwing the kitchen sink at it, including attacking the original tumor, and not just going onto

Why is my RO changing from Degerelix to Lupron after a month?
my husband started
ADT
treatment and RO informed him that after a month he will switch to Lupron. Is there a reason why he is doing this? As Lupron I read causes depression, anxiety. And if hopefully Degerelix works why change it? Can we request he not ? TIA.
