lymph nodes last week. Since then Ive begun have early AM restricted urinary flow - Very narrow stream.
Rad Onc suggested tamsulosin or ibuprophen. MO, tamsulosin.
Any work around for the early AM problem that I could take overnight? Ibuprophen has to be taken all day, burns stomach, and causes dribbling. Flomax is incompatible with anti- depress and sleep meds, I have to take to alleviate ADT side effects, and takes a month to work.
Appreciate words of medical wisdom, other than "go with the flow"

If you take Prilosec, NSAIDs will not bother your stomach. You can take just 2 naproxen/day if that is more convenient.
There are many alpha-blockers other than Flomax that you can try - ask your urologist. The low blood pressure when arising is temporary. Get up slowly for the first 2 weeks and always sit down on the toilet. Rapaflo worked immediately for me, but everyone's different.
Let me calm your fears..... The in and out of stents up your willy is really a "no burger" burger. Believe me, I too was fearful at first but it was nuttin....
