Sciatica
I went off
ADT
9 months ago after 6 months of Elegard depot treatment following prostate radiation. I know that many of the side effects of
ADT
can persist months and even years after stopping Elegard (Lupron).

RT with ADT Relogolix (Orgovyx) vs Enzalutamide (Xtandi) Side Effect Differences?
Conclusion "...enzalutamide may be as efficacious as
ADT
as an adjuvant treatment in combination with RT. It may be better tolerated than
ADT
as well."

Rising PCA - on ADT Holiday
Completed RT and 18 months on
ADT
(Nubeqa) paused the
ADT
in September after PSA non detectable and a fresh set of scans showed no “evidence of disease”. Continued to do bloodwork quarterly and PSA remained at 0. Until this week results came in at 1.2.

darolutamide monotherapy experience?
If you’ve had darolutamide mono therapy, I’m interested in your experience with effectiveness and side effects, especially compared to
ADT
like Lupron.

ADT with radiation?
Do I need to take
ADT
with the radiation therapy? My MO suggested 4 to 6 months of Orgavix (not sure if I'm spelling it correctly). If I need to take an
ADT
which medication has the least bad side effects?

ADT Holiday?
I'm posting for my husband. Gleason 9, cdk12, reoccurrence 18 months after RP. Scans cancer in lymph node and possibly sternum. Had radiation and 2 successful years of Orgovyx and Zytiga. Dr says he can take a holiday from meds but my husband is concerned that the cancer will return without meds

Failing ADT
My questions: Dr Kwon, from his video on Youtube seems to indicate that those of us on
ADT
for a long time can possibly have tumors growing without ANY rise in PSA. Should I get a PSA immediately or should I wait.

De-escellation of ADT with modern RT treatment
Storey makes a case that long-term (33 months) of
ADT
treatment based on obsolete studies (studies with results from radiation treatments with
ADT
of 10-20 years ago) are not necessarily best for the patient and that the 5-year cure rates of 95% or more with intermediate-risk patients show high-dose

3 month PSA post RT/ADT, low enough?
I’ve been on
ADT
since October 16, 2023 and am scheduled to end
ADT
this March. I had my first follow up PSA test on 1/19 and it was 0.5 and my testosterone was 19.

Vitamins with ADT?
Hi Tall_Allen, You do not recommend vitamins when on
ADT
? I am on daily Casodex, has been for several years, and I am taking - Multivitamins, C-, D-, K- vitamins and magnesium daily. Should I stop this? Can you elaborate a bit on why you do not recommend taking vitamins? Thanks in advance!

Importance of ADT
Began
ADT
Orgovyx 3 weeks ago with no side effects, and plan on adding Erleada next month. I think I still have cancer in the prostate and spread to nodes because I did not start
ADT
from the beginning.

Why ADT after Ray treatment?
If
ADT
is only a suppressor of PCa, why are we using
ADT
after we have supposedly killed the PCa? If it is a "just in case we didn't get it all" reason, then why are we using a drug that is still only going to suppress this disease?

Was there ever really a chance for a cure?
Is it stated anywhere in the medical studies what that 3 yr of
ADT
does and why it makes a difference toward a cure, or at least why the Stampede protocol insists on it.

Treatment options
I am 47 years old diagnosed with PC last month with Gleason score 9(5,4) and was advised
ADT
treatment with Bicalutamide and followed by Lupron 30 mg after two weeks. PSA was 77 in Jan and dropped to 23 after starting
ADT
treatment and already feeling better with much less urinary symptoms.
