Prostate biopsy from rib ?
Not done biopsy yet as nervous to put dad through it and one oncologist said it’s not needed as the treatment would be
ADT
but then 3 other oncologists say it’s good to get it done as we would know what exactly we dealing with and can do genetic testing on it etc.

Losing my pubic hair
I have been on
ADT
for 18 months and am about to start my 3rd cycle of chemo (carboplatin+etoposide). Up to this point I have not had many issues with hair loss, just torso and I had almost no hair there to begin with. Has anyone else experienced this?

Testosterone Recovery Time after 1 Year of ADT?
I am ending
ADT
at 1 year. As of today my Testosterone is <0.01. It was 4.3 mg/mL before my first shot. Is there any data on how long it will take a 61 YO to start to see some T come back? Anyone here of a similar age and duration have any words or wisdom on what to expect?

Questions about progesterone and prostate cancer
My onco continues to resist prescribing low dose E2 to help minimize some of my
ADT
SEs. Following my last appointment he suggested progesterone as an alternative. - Has anybody here had success with using progesterone while on
ADT
? - Any reasons to steer clear of progesterone? Thanks

Experiencing possible neuropathy in my trunk
I am assuming it's an
ADT
side-effect but I haven't seen thus far anyone write about it. Would love to hear if anyone has had a similar side effect/sensation. What causes it? How long does it last? Does it require treatment?

PSA-Nadir vs Testosterone-Nadir comparing Non-CRPC to CRPX men
Non-CRPC men have roughly about 1/2 the median PSA-Nadir and 1/2 the median T-nadir values compared to CRPC men, which makes sense because non-CRPC men are still hormone sensitive to
ADT
and, hence, have lower amounts of prostate cancer in their bodies.

Testosterone too high?
I recently had my quarterly PSA and T tests, following stopping 18 months of
ADT
(Orgovyx) in April of 2022. PSA continued to de undetectable (<0.01) and T was 761. The last quarterly T was 706.

ADT - HOT FLUSHES AND CALORIES CONSUMED
A routine I have kept up during my current first course of
ADT
treatment. Was wondering if anybody else has experience of the correlation between food eaten and the intensity of the flushes.

Elevated PSA 8 weeks after Robotic Prostatectomy
My urologist/surgeon recommended intensified
ADT
(LUPRON + ENZY) after the initial PSA of 1.25. I have since declined up to now.

Doubling Times and PSA acceleration - Part II
This can be accomplished by chemical castration by either Lupron-based
ADT
or transdermal estrogen (TDE) therapy (or both). Chemical castration with transdermal estrogen (patch or gel) eliminates most of the bad side effects associated with Lupron
ADT
.

Well, I have gone through surgery, radiotherapy,
ADT
, since my diagnosis in February 2018. It will be 2 years in February next since I started
ADT
and PSA has always been <0.01, but a couple of day ago it came at 0.03.

Did you use Orgovyx with radiation, and did your Medicare Part D or Advantage plan cover it ?
Did briefly discuss this topic with my current Kaiser RO, and he correctly mentioned that all studies of effectiveness of
ADT
+ RT were based on Lupron, etc.......so 12 months of Lupron may not be the number of months that orgovyx should be used to achieve the same effectiveness.

Update On Eclipse Trial-another failure. Has LU-177 worked for anyone?
Due to cardiovascular problems, going back on
ADT
is a last resort. What do you guys think?

Bicalutamide Vs Eligard
I'm just starting my journey which will involve
ADT
and RT. The RT is scheduled to happen in early July and
ADT
to start soon. No spread according to Pet scan. Gleason 4+4 and PSA 7.9. Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever, feeling good for a 65yo. RO doesn't seem to be in any hurry.

Long term ADT bone loss mitigation tips?
My post RP BCR was diagnosed 8 months ago when they said, "you will be on
ADT
the rest of your life". I am on Lupron and abiraterone 4 months now. I am taking 1000mg of calcium per day and 2000IU of D3 per day. If I am lucky enough to last years, what else can I do to prevent the loss of bone?
