Is there seasonality to testosterone levels?
My
ADT
treatments (Lupron/Abiraterone/Prednisone) ended on May 02 2023 at which point both my PSA and Testosterone were flat lined. Here are the results of the four times I have been tested since the end of the

I know this forum is primarily for those with advanced PCA, yet I regularly see posts by those who've only recently discovered the disease and are not in such adavanced stages, being treated only with 1st-generation

At the crossroads (again)
My profile is up to date, but, briefly, have failed chemo,
ADT
(am castrate resistant), failed Keytruda and now Pluvicto. Scans yest. & today show progression along with PSA rise. All my mets are in bone. So, my SOC choices are cabazataxel or radium 223.

What's typical PSA drop over time after SBRT?
Hi All, I'm 10 months post SBRT w/o
ADT
(on a study that randomized me for no
ADT
with low Decipher score), so wondering if anyone has any info on what I would expect for PSA percentage drop over time? A year ago my PSA was 11.0 and this past week, I'm at 5.3.

Another brother passes
Failed
ADT
, chemo and Pluvicto. He was not on this forum. He was very active, skied 120 days a year, biked the rest. He and his wife went to Europe every year. One year to ski and the next to bike. He lived a full life, and that is all we can ask.

Happy anniversary?
In December I started
ADT
(Orgovyx). In March I started 28 sessions of EBRT (external beam radiation therapy) over 5 1/2 weeks. After that I added Abiraterone (Zytiga) and Prednisone for so-called doublet therapy.

considering stopping adt/abiraterone to see what happens
it’s been 8 months since I found myself to have a PSA of 70, it is now 0.0 and I am due for the
ADT
injection. I have coupled standard treatment with rife, mushrooms, ivermectin, fenbendazole, apricot seeds, green tea, vit e, graviola.

Unexpected early end to ADT
As I wrestled with this decision, the thought of getting back to who I was before the
ADT
started seemed pretty damn good! And I am motivated and excited to rebuild my body and mind. Thoughts?

Building Bones and Shrinking Moobs
Started transdermal estradiol (0.0375 mg) in November 2023 to counter negative effects of
ADT
(relugolix and abiraterone) on bone density. Increased the estradiol to 0.075 mg in January 2024 which accelerated my gynecomastia.

How to convince a GP to prescribe estradiol patches?
I've been busy with
ADT
for almost 5 years and one of the most insidious SE has always been hot flushes. I find them quite debilitating as, when they hit (and that's often), I'm briefly incapable to concentrate/perform any task.

given a choice about duration of ADT
After five SBRT, and nine months on
adt
, my doc is willing to let me terminate my Lupron, or just a one or two monthly shots. So i am being given the choice of nine ten eleven or the full 12 months of
ADT

Relugolix/Orgovyx or Enzalutamide/Xtandi?
But, long story short, he has been on
ADT
vacation for 13 months following succesful treatment of metastatic disease with Triplet Therapy (six rounds of Docetaxel, Lupron, and first Abieraterone plus Prednisone and then he switched to Nubeqa).

And if so, does that mean immediate

PSA Doubled in 2 Months
One suggested
ADT
18-24 months and prostate bed radiation. Second RO says we can avoid
ADT
for now as he sees 0.70 as the value he believes requires
ADT
. I'm scheduled for F18 PSMA scan in early December and pelvic MRI the end of December which may change the treatment planning.

When to Commence ADT and/or Androgen Blocking Therapy?
The details are provided below but my question is: At what ultra-sensitive (LabCorp) PSA level is it advisable to consider commencing
ADT
and/or androgen blocking therapy such as ERLEADA? Routine screening at age 60 (2017 ) flagged my PSA at 4.0.

Dutasteride Monotherapy is effective for Newly Diagnosed PCa men not on ADT
Neither group is on
ADT
. Dutasteride monotherapy (0.5 mg/day) causes an average drop in PSA of about 50% in both Groups, and an average drop of about 20% in prostate volume. In one man, his PSA dropped from 43 to 3 (a 93% drop)!
