Work life balance with migraine: has anyone got it right?
Dear all, Since early December I have been experimenting with reducing the amount of travel I do for work from 3 days a week to 2. I am self employed and work from home when not on the road so I can do this, though it does mean turning away jobs. I am definitely getting fewer migraines (down from once

hospital questions
how does pulse oximetry work and why does it sometimes get HR ridiculously high (incorrectly) has anyone found that pain or suddenly being very stressed improves their breathing (i wondered if it was something to do with
adrenaline
?)

Interesting link re:The Adrenal-thyroid connection & treatment by Michael Gerber MD, HMD
http://www.townsendletter.com/Dec2011/monthmiracle1211.html I found this letter from Michael Gerber M.D to be quite a good read, mostly under the thyroid section where he states that 'Overdose of thyroid because of insufficient adrenal cortical reserve causes adrenalin symptoms such as anger, nervousness

Generalised Anxiety Disorder
After a lifetime of being diagnosed with Depression and treated accordingly, I have now at the age of 66 been correctly in my view, now been diagnosed with GAD. The medication prescribed, PREGABALIN is working and giving me hope at last that my disorder can at the least be managed, if not overcome. This

Been doing good
Been doing so good lately, had abit of anxiety earlyer. Then felt fine now ive woken up full of fear and anxiety. I could cry. The symptoms anxiety gives u I forgot how upsetting they can be. I haven't had it so bad for ages. I can feel the adrenalin again. My mind needs to recharge and have a rest while

T4 out - T3 in. Am I recovering?
I promised to let you know how I was getting on having started T3 (Triiodothyronine) only treatment for my Hypothyroidism. My first blogs tell you how it all began almost two years ago. This site, you guys, Dr. Peatfield, Paul Robinson are my inspiration and support. I have no official support yet

Reaction to b12
I bought some jarrow b12 sublingual but even small amounts made me shake uncontrollably and it felt like I had tons of
adrenaline
. 6 weeks later I insisted I needed it looking into and he said he would so long as my b12 levels were still low.

Thank You Most Sincerely Folks!
When I first came on this site it was pure chance. I was searching for help with the way I felt and didn't feel as if I could lay it at any mans door that I knew personally. Even my closest family member will never know how I feel, and neither would I want them to. The distress and fear that was coursing

Journey to 10k.....just a quickie ;)
Well last Sunday I finished wk2 off with a 50min run. It was tough (a few times I told myself five more mins and you can stop but didn't, promising myself all sorts of thing to get me through lol) ....what you perhaps gain in ease from the treadmill having less joint impact you loose a million times

Graham said the devestation is terrible,so much has been lost,to add to it, the dingos, have been attacking the animals that are still alive. He said that they were just numb at the outset, but now the
adrenaline
is kicking in,and they are hard at work, clearing land, and bodies of the sheep, and cattle.

Anxiety/Insomnia - A beginner... Help please.
The levels of
adrenaline
coursing through me were ridiculous. And they did not subside. I slept for 3-4 hours in an alcohol induced 'coma' on 31st Dec/1st Jan, but when I awoke, the
adrenaline
was still there....

Nervousness brings on illness
Hi, I suffer from lupus, mctd, plus numerous other autoimmune conditions and over the years I have begun to realise that
adrenaline
rushes aggravates my symptoms dramatically, I can almost feel it happening.
