He always seems very spritely after these episodes like they leave him full of
adrenaline
. He is constantly on high action and I think that is also not happening he just wont sit down or stop. Even though he's unsteady on his legs.

Question for nerds
I recently read an article in the NY Times about the science of placebo. (No, this is not an attempt to treat RLS with a placebo.) There is some very interesting research being done these days but my interest is not in the placebo effect, it is in an enzyme called COMT that has a role to play in the

Probably because I had a lot of
adrenaline
in my system! During the cool down walk, it felt as if things had fallen into place in my head so more at ease overall. Never imagined I would find a run relaxing!

Partners anxiety
Now the
adrenaline
that has kept me going for so long has deserted me. I have become very anxious about my partner doing even small things alone. I worry when he’s late from small shopping trips, outings, dog walking. Walk around checking watch , eventually phoning him to check.

Spooky running
Well I've managed my 3 runs this week despite the return to school. However Tuesday's run was almost enough to put me off the rest. I was at a course on Tuesday which meant an earlier finish and easier get away than when I'm in school so I spent the day dreamily looking out of the window imagining a

What dose of Flecainide were others given for chemical cardioversion?
A met call was made and I was given atropine and
adrenaline
Intravenously as my HR was between 12 and 20 beats per min and my BP was 60/ 0 , as you can imagine I was slipping away. Thankfully those drugs brought me round and I was still in sinus rhythm. It was extremely frightening.

How much do beta blockers slow you down ?
Two contracted workers at Newcastle racecourse have been suspended after an investigation was launched by the BHA into suspicions a horse was doped to underperform at the track last month. The Mick Easterby-trained Ladies First tested positive for a beta-blocking drug after the 6-4 favourite was beaten

New to Pigs thyroid, test results?
I was on T3 only for 3 months until 8. weeks ago when I crashed adrenals wise (unable to get passed 15mcgs because of
adrenaline
rushes) and switched to T4, 100mgs daily which I was on for 5 weeks. I've been on Compounded pigs thyroid for 3 weeks now. I take a 90mg at one a day.

Top of the morning to you
I’m quickly out of bed and next to his side (
adrenaline
rush). I ask what he needs help with and he says “I can’t open it”. Hum... “what is it that you cannot open?”. His eyes are glassy and I realize that he’s talking in his sleep. I think to myself that he’s just dreaming.

Adrenaline Surges
Okay so I just woke up and holy mother of all cows was I “hyper.” My stomach had butterflies and my heart rate was 126 bpm! That’s my heart rate after exercising! This happens a lot to me. Most of the time it’s random, but sometimes it can spark after a uncomfortable situation. Could this have anything

I am no longer having
adrenaline
rushes (awful) but am in the aftermath of 5 weeks of them. I am 5 weeks off from HC, I no longer take T3, I have for the past 7 days been taking compounded NDT. My symptoms are fatigue, weak, brain fogged.

Vitamins and minerals to help anxiety?
I'm exhausted afterwards and a bit vacant I think it's my
adrenaline
rising and preparing for the threat and wondered if there were any vits, minerals and herbs to support them? I have an idea but not from an anxiety viewpoint (I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis). Thanks everyone :)

My second 10k race
Something about the
adrenaline
of a race day? The weather was tough, my running jacket (a recent birthday present) got its first outing, and my waterproof trail shoes did the business - on several occasions we were running straight through huge puddles of water.
