Short Synacthen Test- Experiences and Results?

Had a short synacthen test today. Within a few minutes of the injection, I felt slightly dizzy and out of it. A few more minutes pass and it feels as though I'm having a full blown adrenaline rush. Hyper-alert, watching people walk past with keen interest, energetic, I ate A LOT, talked a lot, laughed, felt really energetic and upbeat. This effect convinced me that I must produce enough cortisol.

However, after 15 minutes or so, I just crashed mentally and physically. At the half an hour point, I felt thoroughly relaxed to the point of being ready to sleep. It took several attempts to draw blood from me (something that would normally really upset / stress me out) but this time, was totally chilled out and just wanted to fall asleep. It felt as though I had some "rush" but then this wore off incredibly quickly, leaving me shattered.

I won't have the results for a couple of weeks yet, but was wondering what everyone else has experienced and what your subsequent results showed?

Hi, I had a short Synacthin test this morning. It made me feel weird and spaced out. Then it left me feeling wiped out and dizzy. So I think my reactions were the same as yours. Ish.

I don't get my results for a week or so.

I'm interested of your results showed anything?
