The panic is back...damn it Chloe! !
I know that the 12 step programme used by A A. ..and other
addiction
groups works. I've seen it work in my own family. The condition is never healed but kept in check through sharing your thoughts and feelings with other addicts. So who wants to give this ago?

NON SMOKING TREATMENTS
You'll be assessed to get an idea of your level of
addiction
and to outline the benefits of quitting. This is also a chance to identify potential triggers, such as if you live with others who smoke or you're under stress. Your GP can prescribe several different stop smoking treatments.

HINTS AND TIPS FOR QUITTING
You could be amazed how much of your
addiction
is based on the habit form of hand-to-mouth. Avoid temptation Instead of smoking after meals, get up from the table and brush your teeth or go for a walk.

Stopping Smoking
Smoking is an
addiction
and is the first and last thing I do each day. I have little desire or willpower to give up but know I must. Yes I am aware of all the reasons why I should stop but given the above HOW is the question. Your constructive comments please...

I think I have depression
I know I have a gambling
addiction
currently and I have been addicted to lots of things in the past. My grandfather and mother passed away pretty close to the same time about 6 years ago. My mom died of an "accidental" drug overdose on prescription meds.

Need help
I am struggling with the disease of
addiction
and any real coping strategies and my ability to relax. Along with PTSD there were some complication with my birth and I was told there was some birth trauma and I was born blue. I do have a prayer and meditation practice and I am experimenting with.

Prescription medication is taking over my life and I want my life back!!!..
Does anyone here have an
addiction
to prescription drugs? I have been addicted to Zopiclone for 8 years now. My doctor won't give me anymore so I have to buy them off the Internet.. I have tried to come off them so many times but the withdrawal is so bad I have to take them.

Insanity is insanity
The accusation that I have simply replaced one
addiction
with another is quite true, though, and now I do just get stress out of my system by doing exercise.

It is really much better than refined cane or beet sugar, and has very few calories by comparison, so for those with a sugar
addiction
do you use it? And if not why not?

I have been prescribed clonazepam 2mg.. Few Qestions?
Mainly to steer away from
addiction
. Whats everybody's thoughts on this? My RLS is 24/7, affects me in arms, back, legs, sometimes even the face. Only medication I have ever taken was 2 tablets of amitrypline at its lowest dose, spaced 7 weeks apart. never going down that road again.

I thought I'd better try to write something, We all know why were here, to give support to all those other poor souls who are battling nicotine
addiction
. Nicotine's a strange drug, it doesn't do much for you really but it gets under your skin.
