Another fever. Another infection?!
I won't, but, that's how long that darn
addiction
lingers. ha! I needed to vent. I've edited out my usual "language" that would offend even the saltiest sailor. I'm Okay. For today. So glad there are folks out there who get this -- the disease and the trials of caregiving.

ITV Tonight programme on Opioids
Are you worried about the effect they are having and the possibility of
and dependency? ITV's Tonight programme is making a documentary about opioids / prescription painkillers and wants to speak to you about your experience.

Porn Addiction almost ruined my life.
TLDR; Porn damages the male brain in a particularly nasty and insidious way. It can and has ruined whole swathes of men and boys. So I'm 26 and I've been watching online pornography and masturbating every day (sometimes multiple times) since I was about 13 and only in the last couple of months did I

Looking for Advice - Newly Diagnosed Child with ADHD
We are very doubtful about putting him on any type of medication because of the long-term affects on his body and mind not to mention the possibility of
addiction
. I know this may seem extreme, but i have witnessed it first-hand.

Bridge to 10k???? Is Someone Trying To Tell Me Something? 😱
And let’s face it, it’s just a habit or maybe even an
addiction
😬! After all the fiddling around with a very poor connection yesterday, I was only trying to congratulate graduates and checking in with my running pals.

Just popped in to say hello ...
I'm still so pleased that I started running, it's definitely an
addiction
now ... as is reading the forum, your posts continue to inspire me. Any time the gremlins think they're getting the better of me I threaten them with you lot and they soon realise it's time to disappear!

I think it's important to get into the habit of going out to follow the programme and persevere until the fun/

Fortnight gaming addiction
My son is 12 and ADHD. I also have a 17 year old boy. They were given a PS4 for Christmas because my 12 year old didn't have many friends and we thought it would help his self esteem. We always said no to the gaming devices before for our older son. Well, yes, our 12 year old has made friends on the

Absolutely barking mad behaviour but
addiction
and habit doesn't care about common sense. I'm pleased to say that all that secrecy and stupidity is behind me. In fact, I've never felt so fit and well.

Emotional wellnesss
Over the course of this time, I went from a sedentary 230 lb overweight, unconfident father who spent too much focusing on his computer job with a social media
addiction
to a 150lb, lean and fit, entrepreneur who’s striving to improve his wellness in all aspects.

Update!
My only question is why do people keep talking about
addiction
to antidepressants? Have many of you have experienced that and basically what’s your take and advice from people who have been in my position.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has felt a emotional

But the thing is you cannot simply stop because an
addiction
is an obsession that takes over your mind and every thought. Recovery will feel like you’re getting worse. You will be anxious, sweating, and crying because what happens now?

Let's give it another try
I'm very desperate and ready to take any measure I can to quit this
addiction
. Initially, it was just some puffs to calm the urge but it feels like a need now. This
addiction
is ruining my life, my mental peace. I just wanna get rid of smoking. I feel hopeless and depressed.
