Fatigue is kicking my arse!
All jokes aside this fatigue thing is really starting to worsen. Now I do take Modafinil but lately it has not had the same effect. I’m here to ask the collective what else they have used to help. Do any of us have info on Ritalin or Adderall? Any and all guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I have a 6 year old boy with ADHD and ODD. He takes focalin xr and it has helped him a lot. I’ve noticed though that when it’s out of his system, he really has trouble communicating. For example, I could ask him a question and his answer will have absolutely nothing to do with what I asked. He sometimes

CLL (W&W) Fatigue and Adderall
Hello, community. I've been on W&W for five years now. It looks like I'll be heading into treatment in August or September. Numbers are getting bad. For the past year, I've noticed a slight downward trend in my energy level and my ability to focus. I work on my own, and have to think/write frequently

Feeling defeated
My 9 year was on
Adderall
Xr
at that time and tenex. We realized that the xr was giving him mood swings so we went back on the regular Adderall. The last 2 months my sons attitude has changed he has gotten very nasty and getting in trouble with other kids on the bus and in school at daycare.

Feeling Alone and Worthless
I'm 25 Y/O. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was just 5. I stopped taking the medication when I was in college, but recently had to take a temp job while I'm trying to get back on the career path I want to be on. But my job is miserable. I've been there for almost 8 months, and the type of work I

Excessive worry about 19 year old son
Hi: I have had quite severe anxiety since I was 19. I now also have depression. I am in my 50’s now. I have managed pretty well on med and therapy through the years. My 19 year old son has bad depression. I have done everything I can think of to help him. He is seeing a psychiatrist who has tried

13 year old girl ADHD new to Adderall XR
She just started
Adderall
XR
15 mg, taking half a pill. I'm wondering if anyone can share side effects, emotional issues (she has outbursts lately and has some anxiety too), and overall feelings of med helping or not helping. I'd like to know what to expect and how best to help her succeed.

Help finding Psych who’ll prescribe
He had a lot of experience and used a lot of common sense, never had a problem increasing my meds (mix of
Adderall
IR And
XR
), stuff like that. The new doc seemed at first to be pretty good.

Quillivant xr and tachycardia
My daughter was diagnosed with atrial tachycardia when she was almost 2. She has been off of meds for about 4 years now with no episodes. She was just recently diagnosed with ADD and her so doctor prescribed the lowest dosage of Quillivant XR. Anyone have any experience taking it after being diagnosed

Help
My life is collapsing because my ADHD has gotten far worse. I also have other mental illnesses which are under control. I lose 2 or 3 key items a day while focusing not to. The emotional part of ADHD up/down are a constant. I used to be happily married, great father, great son and good brother. Today

Introduction
Hi this is the first time for me to join a group like this. I wanted to talk to other people who were like me today I feel like I had the worst off day ever. I've been taking Adderall extended release and I was having some short-term memories you know the kind of where you can't remember if you lock

Struggling into a new self image
I'm new here, and somewhat newly surrendered to the diagnosis of ADHD. It's amazing me how much of my life long issues are related to this situation, and how much frustration I feel at my own mind. I'm 39, and I only finally decided to allow myself to acknowledge this publicly and to myself for the last

How long do you wait to call the doctor to say the medication is not working?
Hello. My son is 7 years old and was diagnosed with ADHD a year and a half ago. We started off on Concerta and we had seen improvements. Then we tried a higher dosage after it seemed like it wasn't working as well anymore and the teacher's feedback agreed with my observations. The higher dosage worked

Vyvanse and Insurance issues.
Hi, I'm new to all of this but I was recommended to this site. I have been on an ongoing journey to finding the adhd medication that works best for me. After a few tries I finally found that in Vyvanse. After being on it for 2 months my insurance decided it was too expensive for them. All this time I

teenager won't eat or sleep
My 15 year old son has been on adderall 20mg per day for the past 3 months. It has been super helpful in terms of his school day productivity. The side effects have been decreased appetite and difficulty getting to sleep. In the last few days he has barely touched food, has been complaining of no

Just an update
So, we thought we had it all figured out with the Focalin XR, but after about 4 months, it began to loose its effectiveness and my son began experiencing more unpleasant side effects. We discovered that the Cyprohetadine or the combination of it and the Focalin was really making him miserable. An hour

11 yr old with inattentive adhd
My 11 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with inattentive adhd. She will have her 1st IEP meeting in a few weeks. Any advise on what to expect or what to ask? She is on generic adderall and while it has its side effects she is like a different kid. I can really enjoy her better now=). She had shown improvements
