I’m currently on Adderall XR 15 mg which is working better than the other drugs I’ve tried. I’m still having issues with focus, decision making, knowing what the steps are in a project and memory. Here’s an example: I started my dog on a new food. Poured the food into container, threw out bag.

He was taking Adderall XR but it wasn’t the right fit for my son. He is now 10 and we are starting with medication again along with therapy to help. My question is; can anyone share their child’s experience with me on this specific type of medication?

I was initially prescribed Adderall XR. Adderall XR was helpful but when taking it for extended periods (during school year), it would become less effective throughout the day.

We tried adderall xr for awhile to no avail then switched to methylphenidate er which has seemed to make somewhat of an impact. He seems to be more attentive in class and improving in that area. My concern has turned to his social skills. This area has always been a challenge for him.

(The first medication that I was put on was Adderall XR, at various dosages over about a 6 month period. The best it did to treat my ADHD was half of what atomoxetine does for me.) The biggest struggles that I still have with my ADHD are all related to motivation and execution.

Has anyone else developed a sore throat or cough on Adderall XR? If so does regular Adderall have the same effect. I’ve recently (about 4-5 months ago) started ADHD meds after being off for about 8 years.

The reason we took a break during the summer from Adderall XR was due to our traveling abroad and his medication not being allowed in some countries.

I feel like my Adderall isn’t doing anything. I take 20mg XR in the AM and 20mg IR in the PM. I’m doing everything I’m supposed to and it feels similar to a sugar pill? Is that normal? Anyone else? Please help :)

She had been taking Adderall (not XR) for a couple years and it was successful for her. She went off the Adderall so I am looking to find out if there are any other ADHD meds that you have tried that have not caused stomach pain.

My friend has adderall xr like me but then ALSO some "boosters" ... an ir for as needed. A separate script. I kind of want that too and think I legit need it but I hate talking to my psychiatrist about the adhd meds. I'm also down for some natural tips. I just can't keep up with life.

I am considering starting Wellbutrin for ADHD. Didn't like Adderall side effects or concerta. Loved Vyvanse but it is very expensive. Interested to hear how people felt after just starting Wellbutrin.
