High Ferritin - advice please.
Hi, I have had my results back from Blue Horizons again. I have the Thyroid 11 done every 6 months to keep a check on my levels. I have been feeling really good for the last 2 tests and wasn't going to re-do them as I felt so well, but thought I should keep up with the routine so that I can monitor B12

Another doctor’s appointment- advice please
I’ve got a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to discuss my latest test results and would appreciate some advice on them so I know the best thing to say. I was diagnosed hypothyroid last year and started to feel better in the summer after a dose increase to 75mg of Levo, however my TSH dropped to 0.16 (0.2

Hi, I'm a 41 year women with Hashimoto's and an Underachieve Thyroid. I've been told my Hashimoto's is in remission now. I've just had a call from Consultant following an MRI scan I had for my lower back pain. The scan came back clear other than I have an adnexal mass/Cyst near my ovaries. This has

Hi all, My PMR started getting on for 3 years now and my main symptoms for the past year have been pain in my rib cage, collar bone and neck; rib cage pain in particular (feels like you've been hugged by a bear!) I've only been on a low dose (1 or 2 mg pred) for this time but when I saw my GP he said

LED lights safer, more effective in producing vitamin D3 than sunlight. This vitamin is very important for Diabetic.
Research published in Scientific Reports shows that light from RayVio's 293nm ultraviolet (UV) LED is more efficient than sunlight at producing vitamin D3 in skin samples. Tyler Kalajian and his research team, led by Dr. Michael F. Holick, Ph.D., M.D., and supported by Boston University School of Medicine

Fingers crossed, I'm fine so far
Hello As a newbie, I'll relate my journey to date. I can't recall any stress or viruses, but I had worsening symptoms of runny eyes, jaw/ear ache, sore neck and headache. Over 3 weeks this was diagnosed as hay fever (pharmacist and GP) and sinusitis and possible Norovirus - reaction to antibiotic

Spices and inflammation
Hi all, I use a number of spices, turmeric, cinnamon and more, and found this article which gives scientific/medical evidence as to why they work. Since using spices, together with Vitamin D3 I have not had any chest infections for two and a half years now, following a winter with 5 infections and hospitalisation
