A Continuing Success Story from Sheenah

Hello All Once again!! I put a brief post on yesterday and realised that I had not put a proper post on for two years. I'd like to share with you all what has happened since then. As I have a pretty bad dose of Flu and cant do anything much else, I thought I'd grab this chance. I would not be able to write this post if it were not for this site and the great people on it who helped me so much. To you all, I say a very heartfelt Thank You!!!

April 2015, I finally got my NDT at the right level at 2.5 grains, I felt normal, had bags of energy, keen brain - fantastic!! But I also started to lose weight, something that has been a problem all my life. I weighed in at 15 stone 8lbs then and now after about 18 months weigh 13 stone, and still losing albeit very slowly. I have gone from a size 26 (round the old boobs) to a size 18 (even though the boobs have turned into old flaps, at my age I don't care!!)

I put this down mainly to the Thyroid meds, but there were 2 other things I did as well - actually 3. (I am not suggesting you follow my advice, as I do not have medical qualifications, I am simply telling you what I did.)

Firstly, I got Jeff Bowles book on Vitamin D3 and followed his protocol taking large doses of Vitamin D3 per day, along with Vitamin K2, Krill oil and coconut oil. The Vit D3 needs fat to make it work properly and the oils do this taken at the same time. He says in his book that he had lost a lot of weight, but I was not hopeful really. I certainly did not suffer any side effects.

Secondly, I researched and bought Dr. Jason Fung's book on fasting. As I have no appetite and have not been hungry for years, I thought it would not be difficult and it was not, but it was doing it properly that was important and eating whole milk and butter in my diet. He has had amazing success reversing Type 2 diabetes with this plan, and it is well worth buying and following if you can (not that I have diabetes, fortunately). He makes the point that fasting is choosing not to eat rather than starving and that hunger is all in the mind. Most people in this country are surrounded by food all the time, and we have this ingrained belief that we need to eat 3 meals a day, which we do not.

And thirdly, I bought an Earthing sheet. A "what?"I hear you say! The Book - Earthing by Clint Ober and Stephen Sinatra is a fascinating read. I found it while doing research for my own book. Long story short. Most people in the so called civilised world have lost their connection to the Earths energy, a lot to do with shoes which now mainly insulate us from this energy, plus so many people live in cities and towns and rarely take their shoes off and walk barefoot on the Earth. Clint Ober developed systems which allow you to plug into that energy, and one of them is a sheet which you plug into an ordinary socket, which connects you to the energy of the Earth while you sleep. Even though I was not in any pain or discomfort I had to have one as I was fascinated. I woke up the next morning feeling incredibly peaceful and content. My husband who sleeps in a separate bed because he tosses and turns all night with pain in his shoulders was very sceptical, and very amazed when he slept well all night with no pain, and has continued to do so for over a year.

Which ever of these thing helped me so much apart from the NDT I do not know, but I am still doing them and plan to carry on!!

I hope that this has given you a bit of hope that if you are determined enough it can be done . Never Give Up. Never.

With much love to you all

I have a friend who walks/goes everywhere barefoot .....I personally feel that things were meant to be this way and if reflexology is anything to go by all those points on our feet correspond with parts of our body and organs then walking barefoot will be having all of that stimulated in such a way that is really beneficial to health....!It's not something I feel I could do personally in the UK and our climate lol ..but the earthing sheet sounds like it does the job! :)
