Clonazepam instead of Pregabalin?
I have just had a telephone appointment with a Neurologist which lasted all of 90 seconds, part of which he spent looking through my notes and came to the conclusion that I should try Clonazepam instead of Pregabalin for 6 months. He wasn't interested in listening to anything I had to say about iron

Restless Legs Syndrome
Is anyone else experiencing a shortage of Ropinirole for restless legs? Yet again my usual pharmacy has run out of this drug and it’s the only drug I’ve found so far, that works for me. I can’t work out if it’s my pharmacy not ordering in enough or whether the pharmaceutical company isn’t manufacturing

Trouble transitioning to Gabapentin
Due to augmentation, I switched from Ropinirole to Gabapentin about 6 weeks ago. I did it in about a month (a bit too quick, I realize now, and suffered because of it), so I've been off Ropinirole for over two weeks. Unfortunately, Gabapentin has yet to do anything for me. I'm up to 900 miligrams a day

UTI’s post CABG
Hi all, my husband is 14 weeks post triple bypass. He’s recovered incredibly well however he has had persistent UTI’s since. He’s been on antibiotics several times but it doesn’t seem to be clearing up. He’s calling the doctor again today but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this? Thank

Getting back to fitness following CABG
Triple bypass 9 weeks ago. Up until a few months before surgery and when I knew there was a problem, I was training everyday at the gym doing CrossFit etc. At the moment I am walking everyday 3-5 miles each day but am now itching to do more. My breathing is good when walking but not when going upstairs

AF after eating
Had a triple bypass last Monday. Surgery went well. And bounced in and out of CICU and HDU, deposited on the ward and left with my swirling thoughts. My recovery was going well. On the Wednesday night, I treated myself to some ice cream for a desert on the hospital menu. Two spoons in, I felt a weird

I started having chest pain in March 2022. I was referred to hospital for a CT coronary Angiogram In May 2022. The results showed I had no obstruction of the large coronary arteries. So this didn’t explain my symptoms. I just kept getting worse with many trips to the doctors saying this could be stress
