Restless legs medication
I have had restless legs for many years and was taking mirtazapine but it is no longer working. I have tried pramipexole but have had awful headaches. I’m now having awful insomnia which combined with RL means I am getting 2-3 hours sleep each night. What medications have you used that have helped

Ropinirole to Pregabalin
Good Morning RLS team! :) I'm new to this group - very thankful to have found it and the fantastic information that's here. Hurrah for you! Last October I started taking Ropinirole for RLS but have decided I don't want to stay on it any further - I've augmented on that and I have edema in my arms

Update on rls
Hello everyone, just an update to let you know how I have been getting on since coming off the dopamine agonist. It's around 3 months now since I took my last tiny piece of pramipexole, after a pretty rough time of crawling legs, arms, shoulder shivers, I'm finally getting better!!! While coming off

Holiday - flying
My husband would like us to go abroad for some winter sun in the next couple of weeks. Following my CABG in July I am anxious about flying. Should I be worried ?

LDN and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis?
So my husband’s Hepatologist said his MRI looks like PSC. We know he has parasites because he’s been flushing them out like crazy. So we aren’t sure which came first. Anyone know if LDN can help?

CAD at 47 - Shock
Just a bit of background. Was suffering from anxiety attacks and heart palpitations last Sep. Was referred to a cardiologist (privately). Did the usual tests (holt ecg / Echo / CTCA). Whilst the ecg and echo came back with no issues, unfortunately CTCA showed moderate( 50%) stenosis in mid-LAD. Calcium

Stopping bisoprolol
I had one stent in the lad last Jan. Still get some chest pain from time to time. I am on bisoprolol 1.25mg. This has made my heat rate very low (under 40 sometimes) so tried to stop taking. However after 3 days started to not feel great and got chest pain. Therefore started taking it again Anyone experience

gabapentin side effects
I’ve been on gabaoentin approximately 16 weeks, I’m on 2 tablets 3 times a day, my restless legs are much better and am able to get some sleep. 2 weeks after Bypass surgery
Good morning everyone 😊 Sorry for the delayed update. On 15 Jan I underwent CABG x3. I was in ICU on the ventilator for 24 hours after op as there was a bleed on my chest that they needed to correct before waking me up. I was completely unaware of any of this, my first memory was a 3am phone call from

ERCP - Failed
Anyone had a failed ERCP? The specialist did not manage to put in the stent and will try again later this week. The whole experience is like Mr Bean but that's another story. Summary - relative presented with high bilirubin - had 3/4 blood tests and still high (in a period of 3 weeks) - ERCP scheduled

Easing pain in sternum / breast bone when coughing and sneezing.
After I had had a Triple CABG Operation done, every time that I coughed, or sneezed, which I tend to do violently my sternum / breastbone / chest hurt a lot. It was not until a physiotherapist friend had told that hugging myself would make coughing and sneezing more comfortable , that it did not hurt

Hubby having cabg X4 on Thursday
Hubby had a very mild heart attack 2 weeks ago. Kept in hospital then after a week sent to a specialist hospital in Sheffield to have angioplasty and stents. They immediately kept him in Sheffield hospital and he's having a quadruple bypass this Thursday. Feeling so scared and although they are fantastic

Amlodipine Unwanted Side Effects
Several years ago, I was put on my first ever medication for High Blood Pressure, AMLODIPINE. One of the unwanted side-effects of it was abnormal chest pain on the left side of the chest. I even had to get a GP to check me out, but he said that there was nothing wrong. Eventually, my own GP phased

Bisoprolol Experience.
On the 4th of April, 2023, I had a Triple Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Operation. I was then prescribed Bisopralol 10mg, a day, including to help control my high blood pressure. That was despite my telling the hospital doctors that that might not be suitable, because Betablocker medicines like that

left ventricular systolic dysfunction
Had chest tightness on exertion, breathless. I had an angiogram with possibility of stent as a CT showed LAD was getting blocked. Turns out CTwas inaccurate and LAD is fine, mild furring. I have been referred for an echo, report shows LvSD. Left ventricular systolic dysfunction, echo to verify. Anyone

Third recurrence, very worried.
I've just started Caelyx ,after my CA125 went up , always a good predictor for me. CT showed a 3cm tumour pressing on my ureter so I needed a stent to release pressure on my kidney. I had ablation on a liver tumour in August this year in the hope that I might get a break!. A CT in Sept showed me to be

stent
hello everyone Stent fitted in August after a heart attack. Does anyone know how long it takes for a stent to “settle in” ? Appreciate some of the meds I’m now on are to ensure this happens correctly but have no idea when you know it s ok and properly settled in place. Thanks
