hi just a wee update - chest pains December 2022 CT coronary scan March 2023 as part of a trial confirmed angina with 90% blockage right and 60% left. Artery. Tried to manage with meds but as BP naturally low decision to request urgent stent. Procedure done last Thursday and feeling amazing! Still have emotional episodes and bruising painful but healing so just to say yes it gets better! Thanks everyone for sharing how you are managing as this helped no end

Hi Smile2712

I’m happy to hear you had a successful procedure. It’s still early days, so I should think the soreness/bruising and the emotions will remain high for some time. The good thing is that you’re feeling better.

I hope you continue to have a smooth recovery.

All the best.

Tos

Pleased to hear you too feel good post stent. I had 95% blocked right coronary artery and was stented immediately whilst having angiogram. I felt 100% better immediately post stent - firing on all cylinders again! 6 years down the line, all good. Best of luck.

Thank you for sharing your good news with everyone, Smile - it's always good to read stories of how much better people feel after a procedure like this. 👍18 months after a triple bypass I can honestly say I now feel better than I did for years before the operation! 😀

not had time to worry much as concentrating on the goods… thoughts going forward are - don’t stress the little niggles as that’s probably what they are - learn to be more intuitive about my own body and use the amazing support available! I will push the worries to the side as changed diet and lifestyle to be the new normal and seems to be working so far. Would be great to hear your thoughts as your a few months down the line? X
