Could my son have Ehlers-Danlos? Who to ask about diagnosis?
Hi everyone, I've joined the group today as I'm not sure if my son has hypermobile EDS and I'm not sure where to turn and what to do next. He has lots of niggly health issues which I'm starting to think might be EDS (or I could be adding 2+2=5). Since he was about 6 months old he has suffered horrendously

finished Neupro taper and looking for guidance on increasing my Gabapentin dosage
I’ve been taking Neupro 1mg and 400mg x 2 Gabapentin daily for my RLS. In the last 3 months I tapered off Neupro (1mg to 0.75 to 0.5 to 0.25 to 0) with my neurologist since I was experiencing more RLS symptoms despite being on Neupro. My RLS symptoms appeared most nights during the taper and I managed

Amlodipine for angina
My husband, who is nearly 72, had a heart attack in April last year caused by high cholesterol. He had a stent fitted, told that his heart had no damage and was put on Bisoprolol 2.5mg twice a day, ramipril 2.5mg twice a day (now changed to Losartan 50mg once a day), ticagrelor for a year and aspirin

This might be found useful?
I was on here quite a bit after a total knee replacement two years ago. Nothing much seemed to help that wasn't either an opoid or some other harsh drug. I decided to load up on Fenugreek water each day (one quart from simmering 2 Tablesp. seed in one quart of water, cooling, then straining-seeds can

Lyrica pregabalin
Since Horizant is now breaking down before 24 hours, I’m thinking of switching to Pregabalin/Lyrica. What is the group’s experience with pregabalin? Has it helped people?

Side effects
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced what I presume are side effects from my current post stent tablets. The tablets are aspirin, clopidogrel, lansoprazole and atorvastatin. Last week I experienced weakness and breathlessness. This week it's a bit of nausea. Has anyone else encountered any

Aids post knee replacement
I'm due a total knee replacement next month. I already have an easy reach grabber, a leg raiser and a raised toilet seat from when I had a new hip last year. Are there other things that people have found helpful? Thanks 😊 x

In reply to Amanda with a father who refused a triple heart bypass and has type 2 diabetes. I had a triple heart bypass in 2017 3 months after my wife died.. I do wonder if my wife dying of a brain tumour brought it on. It was not good as 12 months later I had sternal dehiscence and a epigastric hernia

sleepless nights and panic attacks
hi everyone. It’s 5months since I’ve had a stent fitted. It’s been a 2 step forward and 1 step back recovery. Recently, 3 times in the last week. I’ve been waking early hours of the morning and not getting back to sleep. During that time I go from trying to control my breathing to a full panic attack

Guidance for RLS
Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and am so glad to have found you. I have suffered with RLS for years, and in the past year, it's become pretty severe. I get VERY little sleep. Currently, I'm taking Gabapentin and Magnesium Glycinate, but neither are helping--yet. I did take Carbidopa-Levodopa for

Gabapentin and Dihydrocodeine
Hello, does anyone have experience in taking Gabapentin with Dihydrocodeine? I was on 5 x Gabapentin 300mg per day (1 in the morning and 4 at night). Gabapentin had worked well for me, but then I was waking with an attack of RLS at around 4am every morning. It usually took about an hour at least to

Cardiac MRI
Hi everyone, Last week I received my MRI result & I’m not sure what to make of it. I’ve got some upcoming appointments to discuss it but they aren’t for a few months yet. It says that I’ve got LVH which I’ve known about for some years, & the ejection fraction has gone up from 45% to 58%, the right

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)

Tramadol and Gabapentin?
My RLS hasvirtually disappeared with 50/100mgs of Tramadol, but l still have difficulty getting of to sleep. In fact the longer l lie in bed unable to sleep, the. more likely my RLS comes back. I have been taking Gabapentin 300mgs 30 mins before going to bed and this has solved the problem. I’m 67

Cleveland Clinic - Update
So I took the option of going out of area to The Cleveland Clinic in London for my angiogram that I had been pushing for a year, as I knew something was wrong, although the general opinion was that I was fine and I was beginning to think that I was imagining it. If you feel something is wrong don't give

Heart rate and fitness
Having had a coronary stent fitted 9 years ago at the ripe old age of 43 i am now at 52 starting to realise i should be addressing fitness/diet. My question is should i be getting the heart racing during exercise or not,and what type of exercise ? I’ve just bought a treadmill and spin bike but not sure

Ejection fraction
Hi. My husband had a heart attack just over a year ago., with one stent fitted. Had a few ups and downs in the first 6 months, but the last few months he has been feeling really good mentally and physically, and is fitter than he’s ever been. However he had a routine echo a month ago the results of which
