A strange episode
Greetings, forum friends! I seem to be in an odd phase of life with AF lately. I suppose it's not too surprising, given the ending of the relationship with my acupuncturist and his treatments a couple of weeks ago. I know that it's ultimately for the best, but I think that my body may be having a bit

Blood test before FET
Hello girls, I’m due to have a FET on Friday (fourth attempt) with DE - my clinic just arranged for a blood test to be done 1 hour before the transfer to check my progesterone levels. However I feel very uncomfortable with this, I’m afraid this will somehow mess up with blood flow in my body etc. I remember

Treatment resistant depression
I’ve tried years of different modalities of therapy, EDMR, hospitalizations,
acupuncture
, massage, dietary changes, two full rounds of failed TMS, etc. I’m still barely moving along well enough day to day to do basic self-care.

Transfer booked!
Have to say though,
acupuncture
has been great for levelling my moods so I think I feel ok about everything. Although I’m a realist at heart so will be astonished if it works! Anyway, rambling post but we’ve not told anyone when the transfer might be so had to get it out to someone!!

Anesthetic anxiety
I saw my GP, several counselors, a psychiatric, a holistic MD, tried several antidepressants and anti anxiety meds, tried massage,
acupuncture
, meditation, etc, etc. I had a constant feeling of terror even though I was medically fine and had a great life.

ET today - our final one
Have made minor changes to this cycle (been taking inofolac, ferrous sulphate and have been having
acupuncture
). We asked the doctor yesterday about killer cells yesterday as a possibility for failures so going to give prednisone a whirl as of today.

Losing hope
I have gone to

Improving
Most recently I started
acupuncture
and I think it is really helping. Last week, I also thought how tired and fed up I am with feeling this way and I told myself I wouldn't allow the depression to take over my life. Since then, I have felt increasingly better everyday.

October update
Hello everyone, It was just a few weeks ago that I wrote to you about my efforts to sort out next steps in dealing with my AF. I was feeling rather confused and overwhelmed at the time. Your supportive responses, kindness, and patience were so helpful! If there's anything I've learned from the AF adventure

Reflexology over Accupuncture?
Hi Ladies, has anyone tried reflexology during ivf instead of
acupuncture
? I had a terrible experience with
acupuncture
years ago and it really put me off. I start short protocol for icsi on Thursday and know I should do
acupuncture
but wanted to know if I could consider reflexology instead?

Ablation decision - update
The other surprise today was my
acupuncture
appointment first thing this morning. I'd been feeling anxious about some underlying issues that I felt I needed to address. This doc has been a very nice man, typically very kind.

I fully intend to do this once my father dies, I have no quality of life and I've tried

I have had physio along with 6 sessions of

, which have had a positive effect, but I still get pain in the middle of the night when I am sleeping (unfortunately, I am not a very good sleeper anyway). Can anyone give me any tips please?

I'm wondering if anyone has tried
acupuncture
, bio energy, hyperbaric chamber, stem cells or natural remedies and with what success? Friends keep suggesting these and I'm fairly short of money so I really don't know what to try when I do have some money.

Increased pain after Laparoscopy & alternative therapies for Endometriosis pain relief
For example I am looking for suggestions such as a change in diet or if people have found activities such as yoga, meditation,
acupuncture
or certain exercises helpful towards pain relief. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
