How TB Meningitis changed my life...
The physio did some treatments and
acupuncture
and later my backache was fine. I still had frequent fevers, I was admitted at the hospital. The doctor isolated me for a week , he said they need to test my sputum. The test results were negative and so they transferred me to the normal ward.

Will the NHS now listen to me on my latest Thyroid results, advice greatly appreciated.
Hi As many of you know i've posted here previously, to cut a very long story short (detailed in previous posts). I paid private to see an Endocrinologist after going to my GP with thyroid symptoms and my TSH being 6.8 and Thyroid antibodies of 58, and low vitamins from the GP testings. I didn't realise

3-1/2 Weeks Bell's Palsy Update
I'm doing
acupuncture
which I started like day 10, and still doing it on weekly basis. It helped me relaxed. My face is not droopy at all, well there's droopiness if you look longer and closer but not noticeable, that's why I thought I'll heal faster.

Shall I carry on acupuncture or not?
I have been having
acupuncture
weekly from December, I had a session day after transfer and I'm wondering if I need another session this week? My acupuncturist didn't really say much about coming back so I'm confused whether it will be beneficial to me and my baby? Thanks xxx

Has anyone had
acupuncture
for severe back pain? I have had four lumbar spinal fusions, all failed, and now steroid injection has been suggested. I am very against this for many reasons but am a big fan of
acupuncture
for general health.

OTD tomorrow but I think I already know the answer 😓😓
We haven't done anything wrong, quite the opposite, we have done everything as we should - no alcohol, no caffeine, I had
acupuncture
, I drank pom juice, I even ate the pineapple core, I was relaxed, my partner drank proxeed stuff to help his swimmers.

Tumble!
This was last Wednesday, directly after
acupuncture
session! I do have a spinal condition but have been feeling awful since then and today has began very depressed, and tearful. Is this normal four days after? Not at all young but, fit (I think) otherwise,

A therapy recommendation
I had gone to my usual physiotherapist and had also tried
acupuncture
, but neither helped at all, and it was my physio that recommended another therapist in the practice.

Also found a journal article of a study documenting reduction in A fib episodes compared to control group using specific
acupuncture
points. Wondering if others have used
acupuncture
and what the results have been?

Swelling in one leg and cramped feeling in calf muscle
Had a series of
acupuncture
treatments for the knee which helped but very slowly. My knee was swollen but no pain. Didn't like too much weight on it. ESR and CRP had increased also. Doctor wanted me to continue reducing. I was at 1mg. She is convinced the PMR had gone and didn't see a connection.

Whiplash causing Hypothyroid and Adrenal Fatigue
I am curious to know if anyone has developed thyroid or adrenal issues following a car accident. I walked away from 2 shunts at 70mph with whiplash. I have seen chiropractor physio acupuncturist and kinesiologist to heal rather than pain meds. I have low cortisol levels - adrenal fatigue and have 80%
