Exploring emotional experiences of adults living with acne
Hi, I'm conducting a research project exploring the emotional experiences of adults living with acne for my Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. My hope is that the research will inform ways professionals respond when working with people with acne. I'm posting information about the study here, as

Acne sufferers, this one's for you.
We are looking to speak with a female acne sufferer who has not responded well to antibiotics, possibly because of antibiotic resistance. It is for a newspaper article and would involve a short interview and a photo. Interested? Email lisa@britishskinfoundation.org.uk. Thanks.

Dome-shaped macular
I started noticing a problem with my left eye in April in that everything I saw in the centre seemed to be like looking through a goldfish bowl. I have worn glasses since the age of 3 and have always been short-sighted. My last test showed the left eye was -12 and right eye -12.75. I saw the ophthalmologist

best oil for Hashimoto patients?
So, this question is pretty straightforward: I was recommended hemp oil by a Hertoghe doctor in Belgium. Others seem to prefer virgin olive oil. I admit to finding it rather confusing, as there are so many theories and opinions out there...so I'd really appreciate some input on this. I would not mind

Three miserable years later, after trying beta-blockers,
ace
inhibitors
, calcium channel blockers etc. all of which made my blood pressure go too low but didn't reduce my pulse to below 100 I finally had a cardioversion on 1st. July 2015.

Pulmonary Edema
Hello everyone! Does anyone have aortic insufficiency, with pulmonary edema, which is treated with diuretics? If so can they affect your INR much? My specialist is off ill and my cardiologist is on holiday. It's just that I saw a doctor in A&E today who obviously did not have much experience in treating

B12 & Acne
I've seen some headlines recently about B12 causing acne. I was wondering ........ in the real world, as regular B12 users how many of us have actually suffered spots as a side effect? I know I haven't. Please post your view/experience 😀

Just been diagnosed with macular degeneration
Hi. My name is Raechel and I'm 42 and I've been diagnosed with AMD. I went to Specsavers today and I was told I had AMD. I was in deep shock and the fact that they knew I had it since 2011 and I didn't know. I've got to keep checking my sight by using the Amsler chart. I haven't been told which type

Spots and aches
Okay so I'm not sure if this is related to my thyroid but is my main reason for looking into my condition more recently after being managed on just levothyroxine for years. But in the last year I've had these spots appear on my right breast, at first there were only three that wouldn't heal but over

Central Retinal Vein Occlusion
Is there anyone on the Forum who has CRVO or BRVO (branch retinal vein occlusion). I was diagnosed by Prof.Khamashta 7 years ago, after my first BRVO. I have unfortunately had a second, much worse. The treatment to possibly restore some sight to the affected eye, is with injections. These injections
