People taking
ACE

or ARBs should limit their intake of high-potassium foods like bananas, oranges, avocados, tomatoes, white and sweet potatoes and dried fruits — especially apricots.

treatment for my husband
He has been treated with prednisone, BP meds,
ace
inhibitors
since diagnosis they now think it is C3G. I am looking for treatment options or those also treated with prednisone. Drs have concern about long term side effects of prednisone. So far my husband has tolerated this treatment well.

Still in HF?
Diagnosed with hypertension 18 months ago, usual
ACE
inhibitors
took 6 months to lower BP. Then came AF, on Atenolol and Eliquis, but side effects, and GP switched me to Bisoprolol. Symptoms worsened and I ended up hospitalized and HF diagnosis with EF of 20%. On Metaprolol, Eliquis and Lasix.

Cough
I have left side heart failure and pulmonary hypertension and have no idea if this is a new symptom or even a reaction to
ace
inhibitors
. I've been fine on them since January. Has anyone experienced this?

Beta Blockers
An article in yesterday's Sunday Mail stated that Betablockers are not the first choice now for heart problems as research shows they are ineffective; in fact, they haven't been for a while and new patients would not be prescribed them and the preferred drugs are
ACE
inhibitors
.

Genetic Testing
Because of this ambiguity I was treated as primary FSGS, but no medication accept
ACE
inhibitors
. To sum up, my doctor suggested to do a genetic testing, so that at least we will be able to cross one item from the list.

Help! Palpitations on 1.5 grains NDT
I'm very conscious of my heart and am having annoying ectopic beats - these are old foes and I had them for years; they went away when I was put on a maximum dose of
ace
inhibitors
(I'm now taking ARB's).

Having Second Thoughts on the Treatment
Here doctor just kept me on
ACE
inhibitors
, and did not give me anything else. Over 7 months my proteinuria has elevated to 1.9 g/day, but my doctor said that we might see deviations, important thing is to observe the trend.

Statin - Side Effects
It seems to be the same with other drugs like
ace
inhibitors
, beta blockers, etc. And why the endless questions about insurance? Having a heart or other health issue will impact on insurance.

B12 acne
My daughter has developed terrible acne following B12 injections. Does anyone know how long this will last as it has had a devastating impact on her confidence.

B12 and Acne
After a few of my b12 shots, I've started to get acne on my face, back and even scalp. And I did a little research and b12 is proven to give acne to some people. And its starting to get bad now. I cannot stop the b12 shots because obviously my body needs it, the symptoms are still there. But this acne

Anybody else? Self harm and acne
HiI have a mixture of scars on my lower forearms both raised and flat. This is from self harm. They are fully healed. Many years ago I massaged bio oil into the affected areas. It turned my scars white. I have started to get the ball rolling with skin camouflage via Email and eligibility. I found on

Possibly off topic-acne on the chin
I thought I would ask this here, maybe someone else has this issue. I have acne but just on my chin. New pimples show up regularly and are deep inside the skin and usually painful. I’ve read that this might suggest issues with estrogen, does anyone else have this issue? Are there any tests I should be

Acne and reflux (worsening) on HCQ
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has noticed a worsening of acne with HCQ (or alternatively a radically increased sensitivity to sugar)? Also, I’m on omeprazole but having to have so much rennies now too as my reflux is getting much worse. Has anyone else noticed these? I feel I’m going to have

#1: The Start
Following the example of Clarebear I've decided to document my thyroid-adrenal journey on here in hopes it'll keep me accountable, and also may serve some after me. After a long, complicated history of no diagnosis, followed by lithium treatment, then prolonged time spent on T4 with no improvement,
