Zanubrutinib and ACE inhibitors
However, she has mentioned that taking Zanubrutinib along with
ACE
inhibitors
can involve a chance (maybe ~5%) of serious heart problems, including “sudden cardiac death”. Should I try replacing the ACE inhibitor with an Angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) prior to starting treatment?

Ejection Fraction
My ECG was normal, my BP which I check several times a day is consistently within normal parameters and as a result of the echo the cardiac consultant now wants an MRI but wants my Primary Care Physician to start me on Beta blockers and
Ace
inhibitors
even though I'm not due to see him until the end

BP Medication and Nausea
I have had a reaction to
ACE
inhibitors
before and don't want to switch to another CCB and find I have more problems. I previously didn't have any issue when I was just on one drug Losaratn.

PV and hypertension
I saw a presentation by Prof Barbui at an MPN Forum a few years ago where he recommends
ACE
inhibitors
for those with PV and hypertension but I’ve not found any papers or research comparing the different types of BP meds for those with both hypertension and an MPN (you’d think it wasn’t a common condition

Having a STEMI in mid 40's...the search for underlying causes / answers for premature CHD.
He is of course now on all the medications you can throw at this including statins,
ACE
inhibitors
, beta blockers, ezetimibe, aspirin and clopidigrel. But here's the conundrum....no one so far can shed any light on why his arteries were so extensively blocked.

People taking
ACE

or ARBs should limit their intake of high-potassium foods like bananas, oranges, avocados, tomatoes, white and sweet potatoes and dried fruits — especially apricots.

treatment for my husband
He has been treated with prednisone, BP meds,
ace
inhibitors
since diagnosis they now think it is C3G. I am looking for treatment options or those also treated with prednisone. Drs have concern about long term side effects of prednisone. So far my husband has tolerated this treatment well.

Still in HF?
Diagnosed with hypertension 18 months ago, usual
ACE
inhibitors
took 6 months to lower BP. Then came AF, on Atenolol and Eliquis, but side effects, and GP switched me to Bisoprolol. Symptoms worsened and I ended up hospitalized and HF diagnosis with EF of 20%. On Metaprolol, Eliquis and Lasix.

Progesterone Only Pill
Hi everyone, I little back story, previously went on Cerelle/Desogestrel before my Endo diagnosis and it was a pill I had every little symptoms on. However, I had breakthrough bleeding and severe acne with it as side effects. Since my diagnosis I cannot get settled and I have tried the Mirena Coil

Genetic Testing
Because of this ambiguity I was treated as primary FSGS, but no medication accept
ACE
inhibitors
. To sum up, my doctor suggested to do a genetic testing, so that at least we will be able to cross one item from the list.

Cough
I have left side heart failure and pulmonary hypertension and have no idea if this is a new symptom or even a reaction to
ace
inhibitors
. I've been fine on them since January. Has anyone experienced this?

Still can’t lose weight - on NDT for 3 months
My mother is severely hypo and was untreated while she was pregnant with me. I’ve been hypo literally my whole life, though I was misdiagnosed earlier in life until I figured it out myself 1yr ago after a couple miscarriages and 18 months of creeping weight gain. I take 120mg or 2 grains of Thyroid-S

Beta Blockers
An article in yesterday's Sunday Mail stated that Betablockers are not the first choice now for heart problems as research shows they are ineffective; in fact, they haven't been for a while and new patients would not be prescribed them and the preferred drugs are

Cystic Acne develops 3 months after starting levothyroxine
I just wanted to check if anybody has had acne develop not long after starting Levothyroxine? I was diagnosed in December 2022 and in mid March 2023 I started to get bad cystic acne and unfortunately it is still on my face. There have been no other changes to my diet or routine so I am assuming it
