Does FT3 normally vary much from day to day? My latest results from Blue Horizon show I'm deficient, and I know my GP won't want to give me any more levo because of the low TSH. BH results from last week:- TSH mU/L 0.05(0.27 - 4.20) Free T4 pmol/L 13.50(12.00 - 22.00) Free T3 pmol/L 2.53(3.10

My gp prescribed 800iu vitamin D3 capsules per day. I quickly found that I feel better on more Vitamin D than that and have been taking

19 years old, wanting to self inject B12??? - long post!
I'm 19 years old, female. In October 2017 I was diagnosed as being deficient in B12. I initially went to the doctors for headaches and he ran a complete blood test. My B12 count was 92. I've previously suffered from iron deficiency anaemia with my lowest count being 4. I'm also deficient in Vitamin D

Vitamin D and its Many Effects in People with PD
I have been gathering information on different supplements for several of my friends who have PD. Turnaround time for Blue Horizons?
Hi, This is my first post here but have previously posted on PA. Had my bloods taken on 7th March for the Thyroid 6 blood test with Blue Horizon. They advised me by email after I'd placed the order that if the samples are sent to Edinburgh, that they are updating their systems so there may be delays.

My "Osteoporosis" Journey
This is just copy and paste of an account I wrote to keep track of things for myself. Please note I have no medical training and I haven't checked to see if the web links at the end still work. I think most will. Since writing this account I've had a second DXA scan showing that within a year my bone

Confused by what vitamins &/or supplements are best for COPD
I've been taking Vitamin d3 with k2(mk7) as suggested but I've been researching other vitamins as well, e.g. magnesium and supplements e.g. probiotics, and I've spent hours and hours surfing the net for best combinations and getting way too carried away with it all. Can I ask what combination of d3

WARNING for dog owners - Vitamin D
I've just started taking Vitamin D3 high doses, and I know many on here will be on them. PLEASE KEEP THESE OUT OF REACH OF PETS!!! My Standard Poodle consumed about 45 x 5000IU capsules which my vet said would have been fatal or caused severe damage if I hadn't got him there so fast. They induced vomiting

Hi all. Today i have been discharged from the hospital as i refuse to take statins. I was blatantly told that their job is to prescribe medication and if i refuse to take it, they will refer me back to my gp who can monitor my cholesterol via blood tests. Fair enough but before they completely remove
